I just received an e-mail to renew my Locals One Pass, and there seems to be some added benefit for renewing, rather than purchasing a new one. I am not sure if they validate that you had a pass previously, in order to renew, but I didn't have to provide any details (such as my pass number etc.).

    I don't think so. I haven't seen that deal in a while. Last time I saw it was at Dreamworld about 12 months ago.

  So you didn't have to provide any details about the fact that you are renewing? Hopefully they don't check this at the park when you first register

    Nope. I had to fill out my name, address and all that jazz again. It didn't say anything about having to verify my previous membership. I would imagine that the overhead of that would be too much.

    Edit: I just checked their T&Cs, I assume they're just hoping people will be honest :)

  I can confirm I utilised this offer earlier in the year and no proof of previous pass was required (although I did have one)

    Thanks JordanM. I wonder if they linked your name and email up with your previous pass details? I am about to buy the pass and I am just worried they will deny me at the park if I buy the renew deal (when I don't have a previous pass)
