Amazon AU currently has the Plantronics Backbeat Pro 2 Noise Cancelling Headphones down to under $200 (+ Delivery). Normally they sell for around $225 (+ Delivery). I have been tossing up between the Bose and Sony, but have been told that the Plantonics is good vaule. Good reviews with most saying it is not quite as good as the Bose QuietComfort 35 II, but better than Sony's WH-XB900N.

  It's worth noting these have been $114 delivered in the past. Not saying this isn't a good deal, but they have been a fair bit cheaper.

  These seem to hold their value - in May 2017 I purchased them for $164 including delivery.

  I've found them to be pretty decent - good sound and microphone. ANC works well enough for me, but I'm no audiophile.

  This year I've been wearing them to the gym and they've been getting sweaty which I think is affecting the leather around the ear pads - I've since stopped using them for the gym and they seem to not be getting worse.

  I've got these, and while I do like them, the ears started flaking pretty quick, and to this days leaves flakes all over me.

      Hmm I should probably get some, hope mine were just a bit shitty. I've been meaning to replace them with the Sony pair everyone gets excited about, but honestly I don't use them enough to justify the price.. kinda..

        I would say that mine weren't top notch either. but at this stage I am more than happy to keep them as my office pair of headphones. outdoors I just use my V-Modas from the other deal a few months back.
