  • B-die?

    • That would be 3200 CL14/15

    • No.

Try the following link to search for B Die. I've taken a look and B Die seems to be nearly double the price of standard ram. CAS 14 vs CAS 16 has a bit in the price as well.

    • My Vengeance Pro is a B-die and it can do 15-17-17-35 on a Z390 board, but I paid a hundred dollars more for it near the beginning of this year.

  • do i need to get a case with a window so you can see the RGB LEDs? Or should I just get non-RGB sticks?

    • If it's cheaper to get non-RGB, then go for the cheaper route. I bought these sticks around February this year at $500 so the prices of RAM have dropped significantly lately.

      RGB is for soy boys

  • This makes me sick, I paid almost $700 for 32gb about a year ago when RAM prices were shit house. Ugh.

Damn that sucks and i thought my 16 gb for 3000mhz costing 190 was bad

    • RAM prices were one of the reasons I held out on upgrading my desktop for another two years or so.

      • Yeah I didn't really have a choice at the time, my PC was playing up real bad :(

Really good price given it's still $270 on Amazon! Time for me to finally bite the bullet and upgrade to 64GB!

I wonder why everyone suddenly dropped to $189 - Mwave, UMart and now Scorptec.

    • I bit on Mwave first, then Scorptec matched which annoys me. I could've just picked them up from Scorptec instead of getting them delivered to Vic.

Just to make a note the SKU is slightly different with Amazon which has tighter timings. Refer to https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/500306#comment-8033420

  • Hope the 2x 8gb drops price too.

  • Currently in my Ryzen build I have the corsair Corsair DDR4 LPX cmk16gx4m2b3200c16 and was looking to buy the same stuff in Amazon https://www.amazon.com.au/Corsair-Vengeance-3200MHz-Desktop-… to increase the RAM.

Then I came across this deal for 32GB.

Would anyone be able to tell if this will go along with my existing RAM ?

Do you care for RGB? If not, keep the RAM gods happy and stick to the same timings. Those sticks can be had for $99 delivered with eBay plus. Hold out until tomorrow and you'll probably snag them cheaper yet again

      • Thanks a lot mate ! I don't need the RGB so will keep an eye for tomorrow's sale therapy …
