Looks like a good deal with a 512GB SSD.

Great looking 2-in-1, but the 8GB RAM is soldered on.

  • The 'SPECIAL100' is not working with this laptop model.
"This is a valid coupon code, but there are no matching items currently in your cart."

    • I just tried. The code is working if you add $89 Accidental Damage cover.

    Applied Coupon: EPP5 $62.95

    • Thanks for the code! Just purchased with the additional 62.95 off.

I could barely find a review for this 2-in-1 anywhere. I wanted to get an understanding of the battery life due to the poor reviews of similar Inspiron 13 7000. Except those Inspirons reviewed had the 4K screen whereas this deal has dropped back to the FHD so should significantly boost battery life.

I went into JB Hi-fi today to have a look at them in person (they had the i7), the screen is pretty dim in a well lit show room floor (even at max brightness). It was quite warm on the bottom, but checked all the other brands and models there and they were no different (being on 24/7 probably doesn’t help). Felt solid enough, couldn’t test the hinges the whole way due to a security block attached to the back of the screen. Trackpad was good, except the left and right click buttons (built in to trackpad at bottom) were a little hard to push. Easily overcome by tapping the track pad with one finger or two, respectively. Blasted YouTube highlights of the premier league and it sounded and looked ok. Touch screen was awesome!

I guess I’m hoping that the battery life is significantly improved and in tablet mode it isn’t too hot to hold. Great price though!

  • can I just leave this here

use PAPP100 to take another $100 off that.

maybe a better deal for some.
