Quest is selling too well, It's the most popular VR headset of the moment so unlikely any deal other than the free star wars games, but who knows, maybe a quest deal will happen
Ended up going for a Quest anyway with the Zip promo.
what's that promo? I've been wanting to get a quest… Had a Vive Cosmos and sent it back after 2 days, wasn't very good for the premium price.

EDIT: Ok so I just wasn't too familiar with all the cashback processes, basically if you pay with ZIP they let you owe $50 less, and when you go through the Shopback affiliate link to shop on Amazon they'll refund you 5% on electronics (https://www.shopback.com.au) for those who didn't know

There is software to make the quest work on PC using vridge riftcat, I also see an article about oculus link software and using Oculus Quest on a PC…

Because Facebook likes profits and they are still selling a good number of Quest units, as there is no real competitor in the market right now for an all-in-one VR experience.
The only real competitor is itself.. the Oculus Go, but that's not really for gaming, more so for watching videos. There's also the Vive Focus but that was originally made for the Chinese market and is probably lacking content
Was holding out for a Quest deal, but it looks like only this and the Go is discounted. Alas!
