Best Way to Earn 2500 QFF Points?

Hi guys,
My wife's 125,000 QFF points apparently expired due to inactivity in her account. After a phone call they reinstated them but she needs to earn 2500 QFF points before March 2020 into her account to meet the activity threshold to maintain her points.
What are some ways for her to earn the required 2500 QFF points please. I think she can convert some Woolworths Reward points, and she mentioned something about a BUPA app that earns some QFF points as well.
Any other suggestions welcome though.
Thanks

Earn 2000 Woolworths Points = 1000 Qantas Points
Look for bonus point offers and you might get the points in less than a month

Thanks. As a family of 6 we spend out $300 a week at Woolies, so prob not hard to rack up the points pretty quickly. I will look out for bonus point offers.

Make sure you set your woolies rewards to points not dollars as that way it will give you the points instead of an auto $10 off your shop when you hit the 2000 ww points threshold.

        • noted. Thanks, will check.

@Shark: You can earn points on the Qantas Wellbeing App based on how many steps you do (and also if you leave your phone alone when you're sleeping), it's not many, probably only a couple a day but I guess it will help.
Also if you don't have a Credit Card which earns points, you could use the Prepaid Travel money card on the other side of your membership card, you only earn 1 point for every $4 but it should also help a bit.

            • @Agarwal: Thanks. That Qantas Wellbeing App must be the App my wife was talking about (not Bupa). She said she gets point for her walking and running. Our Credit Card generates QFF points into my account so that aspect is under control (which is why her QFF became inactive). Just her QFF account is the one we need to address.

              • @Shark: You should have this, anyway, the points tick over so you won’t time out.

terry white chemist rewards, spend $30 get 1000 points

    • hey, thanks, this is a good suggestion that I didn't know about. I noted that TWC has a deal where new rewards members that spend >$30 in the first 90 days get 1000 QFF rewards points. So just joined as a new TWC rewards member and linked my wife's QFF number. Now I just need to go in an spend > $30 on useful stuff for the kids that I would have spent anyway (eg suncream etc) and that will get 1000 points and a fair chunk of the 2500 required.

    Qantas wine deals

Qantas insurance, Credit card sign-up bonus, Qantas shopping… that shouldn't be too hard, but you have to act now because some QFF points does not show up until weeks/months later.

  • qantas wine with bonus points, often can find $50 off coupons on the web. Plus, you get wine.

  • Seems like you've got plenty of options, another is open an account with Australian Super from the Qantas site and receive 20,000 points after you deposit $300. Took me about two months to receive the points though, so don't (profanity) around for too long!

  • Just get out of the stupid scheme… I have 200,000 Virgin points and as long as there is activity, the points remain in tact.
This activity can be from ebay purchases, phone bills, BP fuel, etc.
If Qantas has an eStore, do some purchases for Xmas. Book a flight. Ask them the best way to reach the 2500…. which is not much at all.

    • Qantas are no different and generally offer much better value than using VA points on flights.

    • BP is shutting down the velocity points earn

  • Qantas wine is a very good fast way. Look for wine cartons (6 or 12 packs) with bonus points. It is pretty easy to get 5000, 10000 and sometimes 15000 bonus points. Google for Qantas wine coupons as you should be able to find $50 off pretty easily.

Otherwise convert woolies points to Qantas but this is slower I think

3 x $50 gift cards should do it? (Netflix and Uber handy, you can add to existing account and use as a balance)

    6000 rewards points = 3000 QFF points

I believe should transfer within 24 hours once you have the option setup

  • Qantas restaurants are easy and post within a week or so
