Cosair TX650M Power Supply $99 (80+GOLD Semi modular) + Free Shipping was $135 @ PLE

220

Hey guys,

I came across this from PLE, it looks well priced at $36 off, most stores have them around this 136-150 range, so looks like a decent PSU for the price.

"TX series semi-modular power supplies are ideal for basic desktop systems where low energy use, low noise, and simple installation are essential. All of the capacitors are 105 °C rated, Japanese brand, to ensure solid power delivery and long term reliability. 80 PLUS Gold efficiency reduces operating cost and excess heat. Flat, sleeved black modular cables with clearly-marked connectors make installation fast and straightforward, with good-looking results."

thanks OP, just bought one. Only thing is I think they may be out of stock. On shipping, only option was once more stock arrives from our supplier. Dam hope not waiting too long.

Thanks, purchased… Makes this gold supply a reasonable purchase over a bronze at this price difference so the power savings MAY make the extra $ worth it. You get semi modular leads with the critical ones to the mainboard being hardwired which I like the idea of. Look forward to running some power draw tests before and after it is installed.

    • Would be great if you can post them up afterwards??

Low power draw when sleeping or at desktop and word processing = no change that can be measured.
When playing games with a 250 watt load it saves around 5 watts.
Comparing a cheaper Antec 500 watt bronze VS this larger gold supply.
