    The KEF LS50W are simply amazing. Some may think they are expensive but the integrated DAC, AMP etc it would've cost me much more time and money to shop around, mixing and matching to find that quality of sound.

    At least that is what I tell myself whenever I feel the need to justify my purchase.

      DAC, amp and network streamer (with tidal/spot/roon) built into one of the best passive speakers this side of $4k? Yeah. They go alright.

      Only real problem with it for me is that you can't use the integrated DAC for headphone use as there's no analog output.

    I havent listened to any new KEF stuff for years but i do have a pair of 1970s concerto kefs that my oldman passed down to me. they are the most amazing sounding speakers i have ever heard to be honest.
