  the video sells it as the worlds biggest tv remote ! why you would use this the way they do in the video is beyond me. If you need to do some typing on your TV sure but to change channels and fast forward etc its just not practical.

    I’ve used a K400 as a “remote” for years - first with an HTPC, now with an Xbox One (used largely as a media hub, effectively an HTPC). The “regular” remote is purely for turning on the TV and changing the volume (or switching inputs) - ALL other control is done by keyboard.

    Each to their own, mate! :)

    Agreed. The K830 is a much better option, but also double the price.

  I bought a couple of k400's in the past which were great, but now that I've moved to using Harmony to control everything, it's just so much easier. I also find using something like an Apple TV far easier than mucking around with my old HTPC when it comes to streaming from my NAS or Youtube/etc (now that there's decent apps available for it vs. 7 years ago).
