I wonder how many people actually need the coffee machine? I sure don't so I won't be wasting $50.40 and my time to get it.

How much of the crap we buy do we really need? Probably not a lot - this article was clearly written by Woolworths PR to amp up the promotion.

  • I'll stick with my Creatista machine.

Not a fan of Vittoria pods.

    Here is the posted deal:

The OzB community did not exactly 'go mad' about it, if you read the comments.

I detest these "news" items which are purely advertising, based on some on-line "research" by the "journalist".

There are certainly a few users 'going mad' in the comments… but not in the good way

It's a crap deal. Pod machines suck. Terrible coffee, terrible for the environment and works out more expensive than buying a manual machine and good beans in the long run.

Ah. They're reporting on our reporting.

(The writer is probably and OzBargainer.)

That's what passes for 'journalism' these days. Must have been a slow day on twitter.

Very few journalists these days, just activists, writers and propagandists pushing agendas. Also, like you state, half of them consider publishing people's twitter feeds as news…

The term 'journalism' is pretty much done..

  • not a bad deal at the moment as some of the pods are on special for $4.20 at woolies underwood

i made the mistake of buying the machine when it was on special, totally unaware about this deal
