Here's a great new app to track your fuel consumption, Fuel price and distance travelled.
Best of all its free and it does not require any pesky permissions, no internet , no ads, no other private data access like many other apps. Just a great App for all who want to mind their fuel consumption.

It doesn't have to be "for a limited time only" to be a bargain.
by that thinking, every free app on the market is a bargain?
I agree that it doesnt have to be limited time, but it has to be better value than others that are on offer and I think there are a few free apps that do similar things?

My friend you are right. It isn't a bargain, its normally free, But being normally free doesn't negate its inherent value.
I did have a thought about this question before posting it here , but I thought people might want to use it to save and track their fuel expenses. Knowing Oz bargainers who watch what they spend, I thought this might be handy.
Happy to take it off if need be, but I just thought of sharing it because its a good (No Ads , No BS )app and people might find it useful.
Hope this clarifies my position.

my gripe is not with useful software like these, but more of those "was $3.99 but free 'now' (and has been for the past 6 mths) and ad supported " iphone/android apps posts that keeps popping up like fungus now and then.

Thanks installed it. Pity it doesn't allow you to enter the distance travelled by entering the odometer reading and then the app subtracts the previous value to get the distance.
Also after installation you should change the currency from CAD to AUD, looks like the author was Canadian.
And this thread should be moved to the forums per guidelines.
Yeah I wish it did that, Would save us a few presses of the trip meter every time we refuel.

oh dear…Dealman, I do think this is a great app, and I found it and I'm brand spanking new user. I love ozbargains and only happened across it when I was looking for a pizza hut coupon. I haven't downloaded this app yep but love the idea and there's no way in hell I would have found it anywhere but right here where it is….all the 'haters' etc need to find something to do otherthan to be jelous….I do believe, as a 3 day new user that you have put the post exactly where it's supposed to be for me to find it…BIG THANK YOU TO DEAL MAN XOXOXOXO
