  With Groupon being 'discount tickets and goods' site which in my observation is never more expensive than original directly from vendor experiences, who pays for the discount? Groupon earns nothing or even pays it out of their pocket? Or the vendor earns much less?

  Groupon is paid by the vendor. Why would they lose money to help the vendor???
