PureVPN: 130% Cashback for New PureVPN Customers @ TopCashback AU

861

Profit 💰 offer is back. Unfortunately not for those who purchased in the last offer in September.

Offer expires on Sun 19th Oct 11:45pm AEDT.

Only one (1) PureVPN purchase is permitted per member every 28 days (4 weeks).

My Tips:

  • Choose Max 2-year plan (+ 6 months) US$109.95 for the best value. Do NOT grab the 5-year plan offer in the pop-up. 5-year plan and add-ons are ineligible for cashback.
  • Use a new email for PureVPN if purchased before.
  • Pay with a card without international transaction fees if possible.
  • The tracked amount in your TopCashback account will be slightly lower than what you are charged. This is probably due to the currency conversion fees/taxes as PureVPN reports in USD which is converted to AUD. 130% cashback minus the fees/taxes.
  • If you use PayPal AU, PayPal AU may charge a currency conversion fee. It seems not possible to change the currency to USD to bill the card in USD instead of AUD. These fees are ineligible for cashback.
  • Tracking may take up to 5 hours.
  • If your order doesn't track, please cancel and request for a refund from PureVPN within 31 days under their 31-day money-back guarantee.
  • If you cancel for non-tracking, you can buy again. Use a new email address for PureVPN with the same TopCashback account. Same payment card is fine.
  • You can cancel auto-renewal/subscription after you have received cashback.

It is recommended to use the TopCashback app, click the 'Get 130% Cashback' pink button to the PureVPN website, mobile data (not Wi-Fi) and Chrome browser.

TA's Tips:

  • A new email address for PureVPN is considered a new customer.
  • Prior to using TopCashback, disable/remove all 3rd party plugins (AdBlock, uBlock, Pi-hole, Honey, etc), VPNs, avoid browsers such as Brave and close any additional browser tabs.
  • For iOS device: Apart from ensuring you’re not using an AdBlock app for Safari, the most important one is to ensure you have ‘Prevent Cross-Site Tracking’ turned off (see here).
  • Also important to remember that should tracking fail for whatever reason, please cancel using their free 31-day money-back guarantee policy. No point lodging a claim to possibly have it rejected by PureVPN as attributed elsewhere.

What will stop me getting my cashback

  • Cashback is eligible only on 1-year, 2-year, and monthly plans (Standard, Plus, Max). Cashback is ineligible on 5-year plan, Teams multi-user plans, and/or add-ons.
  • Only one (1) PureVPN purchase is permitted per member every 28 days (4 weeks). Check your TopCashback account to confirm last purchase date.
  • PureVPN is excluded from all signup and referral bonus thresholds. Reference the Tell-a-Friend terms for more information.
  • Cashback can only be earned by customers opening a new PureVPN account. Renewals are ineligible for cashback.
  • Cashback is ineligible on payments made with Crypto currency.
  • Cashback is ineligible on use of any codes not approved and posted by TopCashback.
  • Cashback is ineligible on use of any gift cards, vouchers, or store credit for partial or full payment. Cashback is also ineligible on purchase of any gift cards.
  • Cashback is ineligible on purchases made via the retailer's mobile app.

What else is essential

  • Cashback is calculated and paid on the advertised cost of the plan only. It will exclude upsold products, GST, other taxes, credit card or PayPal surcharges.
  • PureVPN orders report to your account excluding GST and other taxes, and may show a further difference in purchase amount due to international conversion rates. This is beyond our control.
  • Engaging with plugins such as Honey, AdBlock, uBlock, Pi-hole, VPNs, and browsers such as Brave may prevent your order from tracking.
  • Accept and allow all 3rd party cookies on the retailer's page if requested.
  • Return to TopCashback to click the 'Get Cashback' button for each new transaction.
  • Transactions must be completed solely & wholly online and must not be assisted or negotiated via phone/chat/email. Failure to do so will cause tracking to fail and/or have cashback declined.

TopCashback AU Referrals

Referral: random (5602)

Referrer gets $35, referee gets $10 (after $10 of earned cashback within 180 days of signing up).

This is a good deal for people who want to pay off their mortgage quicker…

  • +1

I have been using windscribe but after the latest update, it seems to not download things but allows browsing. I have tried changing every setting with the firewall and windscribe with no luck. Is this any better than windscribe in people's experience?

    • +1

Literally installed Windscribe this morning and downloaded a torrent and two bits of software using the 2GB free.

      Maybe uninstall and try again.

      • Okay thanks. Will try

      • +2

Honestly you don't even need a VPN for torrents in Australia, the Dallas buyers club lawsuit set a precedent making it impractical to sue any private individuals for copyright violations as they can only sue for their actual loss ($30~ Bluray sale to you).

The main use for VPNs in Australia now is privacy from our own damn government unfortunately, not getting yourself arrested for "hate speech" (speech the government hates).

        • +1

Each to their own, I would rather a VPN than not. Some VPNs offer other features like virus scanning too.

Also, a VPN won’t protect you if the Government wants to get you for hate speech, just ask the ones arrested in the UK who thought they were safe

    • Windscribe worked fine for me this morning downloading torrents.

      • Apparently some research and asking their AI chat, it says they have started phasing out P2P downloads on free servers. I need to upgrade. I should have downloaded this VPN if it works. Waiting for the next deal

OP do you know if pureVPN will treat a gmail subaddress as a new email?
For example if my email is first.last.name@gmail.com, and I've already used that, can I register with first.last.name+purevpn@gmail.com and they will treat it as a new email?

  • Yes, they do. I have been doing that for multiple purchases and they have all tracked and been paid.

  • When will cash back actually hit your bank account with these type of subscription deals?

    • +8

Cashback is usually paid in about 3 months. Estimated payable is up to 16 weeks. You can see the estimated payable when you click "+" on the transaction.

Here is a summary of my PureVPN transactions this year:

      • 27 Sep Purchase - Pending
      • 26 Aug Purchase - Confirmed on 5 Oct
      • 11 July Purchase - Paid on 4 Oct
      • 13 June Purchase - Paid on 6 Sep
      • 16 May Purchase - Paid on 14 Aug
      • 18 April Purchase - Paid on 11 July
      • 1 March Purchase - Paid on 31 May
      • 18 Jan Purchase - Paid on 17 April

Ref: What do the statuses 'pending', 'confirmed' and 'payable' mean?

      • +1

I had my first payment come through recently! Yippee!

      • +2

Thanks for sharing your txn history. It gives me a bit more confidence to give it a go :)

  • How does it compare to Nord

    • +9

Nord is better. Use Nord for the VPN. Buy Pure for the profit with cashback.

  • What's the best few ways to avoid reduce currency fees

  • It's okay that I cannot buy this time because still less than 1 month. The reason why we should buy this through Topcashback in other countries. Few days ago I bought the same PureVPN cashback promo through Topcashback USA ;-)

    • Can you withdraw from TCB USA?

      • +1

From previous transaction in the past, I can withdraw through Paypal. Hopefully no problem for this.

  • My last purevpn buy didn't track for the first time in 5 purevpn transactions over the past year, hoping for better luck this time.

    • +2

Sorry to hear. I also had non-tracking early this year. Cancelled for a refund, reordered with a new email and it tracked.

      All the best.

  • +1

    Thanks OP!

    Paid $169.75

    Tracked $210.50

    Profit: $40.75

  • Do we need to close previous accounts or take any action to avoid charge at end of 2-3 years period?

    • +1

Yeah best to cancel once youve been paid just so you don't forget about it l.

    • +4

Yes. I cancel subscription/auto-renewal after cashback is paid (in about 3 months).

      Here are the steps:

      • Login to your account.
      • Choose 'Subscriptions' on the left hand side.
      • At the bottom of page, click 'Cancel Subscription'.
      • Choose a reason. I chose 'I no longer need the service'.
      • Continue to choose 'Cancel Subscription'.
('File a refund' disappears after 30 days from purchase date.)

It will cancel subscription/auto-renewal but you will still be able to use the VPN until it expires.

You may be able to update your payment card with a used gift card e.g. Coles Mastercard gift card or similar. It doesn't always accept the gift card and has declined a few times.

      • +1

        Love your work mate

  • +2

I did this the last deal, mine tracked and got paid out.

For the PureVPN service - its noticeably slower and laggier than NordVPN in Sydney, and didnt enjoy it at all. So i did the NordVPN deal again and use that for VPN.

  • +3

What a shame I'm not eligible for this offer yet!
Best of luck for tracking for people who do take advantage of this profit offer.

Upvoted because it is a good deal. :)

  • Used Firefox this time, it's been 1.5 hours but still not tracked yet. Last time I used Safari on macOS and turned off everything (e.g. cross site tracking, adguard) and no tracking after 3 days, so I asked for a refund in the end. I've been taking these profitable PureVPN deals since 2023 and never had any issue before regardless of what browsers or app I used. Let's see how it goes

    • +1

Firefox actively prevents cross site tracking. Cookies are sandboxed to each website you visit. Just use Chrome. Never had any issues using Chrome on laptop or phone. Good luck brother.

      • @dsesaz Sorry to hear. Unfortunately Firefox can block tracking and there are comments that cashback didn't track with Firefox.

Here is a tip with Firefox.

It could be the new updates with Firefox and Safari that were blocking the tracking.

As per the post description, Chrome is the preferred browser and also recommended by TCB. There are less (or no) adjustments needed for Chrome.

If still untracked after about 6 hours, please cancel and request for a refund from PureVPN (within 31 days).

Use a new email address (and preferably Chrome) if you wish to reorder.

        All the best.

        • Thanks for the reply. It's been 7 hours but still not tracked, and I tried Chrome on Android later but no luck either.. So now I have 2 refunds to make (btw do you know the easiest way to request a refund? I did that through PureVPN online portal, but had to reply 2 more emails before they actually agreed to proceed the refund). And would TCB app on Android or Chrome on macOS/Windows be better in terms of tracking?

          • +1

@dsesaz: Update: tried Chrome on macOS, tracked within 10 minutes

          • +1

@dsesaz: Great to hear it tracked finally.

With refunds, unfortunately there isn't an alternative. You would have done this:

            • Log into your account, choose "Subscriptions".

            • At the bottom of page, click "File a refund".
Can state you need the money as the reason.

            • There are several comments recently that PureVPN had processed refunds quickly with a single request for refund. Hope you get this agent on your second refund.

            • As you experienced, PureVPN may not cancel and refund straightaway. There would be several emails from different staff to persuade you to stay with offers. Simply repeat your request to cancel and refund as you need the money (under their 31-day money-back guarantee). You will get the refund after a few emails. (I encountered this and had emails from 4 different agents.)

Regarding tracking, there is better success with the TopCashback app, click through to PureVPN website, use mobile data (not Wi-Fi) and Chrome. Mobile data has less risk of blocking tracking than Wi-Fi.

Here is a detailed comment on non-tracking that may be of interest.

All the best with the refund.

Shame on them for not timing it so people can sign up again and be elligible. This is mean spirited and not in the ozbargain spirit.

  • anyone having issues paying?

  • Definitely don't do this for the VPN access lol for the money only

    Thanks @trixieb
Paid by Wise and $210 tracked in under an hour.

    paid : $177.05 via PayPal.
    Tracked : $210.50
    tracked in 12 minutes.

    thanks OP.

  • Quick question, I made a new account with a new email, etc, when signing up, but the payment declined, so I closed everything and redid it with the same email. I believe it did make an account, but obviously the transaction didn't go through. Second time around everything was fine and it tracked, is there any chance it gets revoked by topback or is this still consdiered a new account? Just a bit worried is all. Cheers

    • @toneypaloney A PureVPN account is a subscription to a VPN service. To subscribe, there seem to be two options: pay upfront or a free 7-day trial.

When an account is created and paid successfully, there is usually an automated email with this heading: "Welcome to a family of 3 million".

Is this your email heading of the first email from PureVPN? I'm not sure if you could have created an account without payment or a free 7-day trial.

It would be PureVPN who determines your eligibility and pays the cashback, not TopCashback. You would contact TopCashback if any issues and they will follow up.

    • I had a similar experience back in June. Transaction didn't to through. But I believed account with PureVPN wasn't created, at least I thought so at the time. Later on, I did receive emails from PureVPN trying to sign me up with the lastest on 18 Sep 25.

Will see if I will receive the cashback.

      • @apple0604 Hi again. You mentioned participating in 2 of the PureVPN offers.

Here is my latest summary of the PureVPN offers. Only Sep offer is pending. Aug offer is confirmed which means you will be paid soon. The rest have already been paid.

        • Good memory. I subscribe to all your postings now. :) Appreciate the summary you posted, very useful.

Yes, up until that point I only participated twice in PureVPN deals. In June, I tried quite a few different email addresses, payment cards and family members' device (now I wish I didn't) without success. Now I receive promo emails from PureVPN in those email addresses. Annoying. Shall I decide to participate more PureVPN deals in the future then I need to have a spreadsheet to keep track or setup more disposable emails for PureVPN deals. I have never used gmail dot tricks and not sure if I will try. So far, I don't need to.

BTW, I only participated in PureVPN deals via tcb for profits because TA is tcb rep. I wouldn't have done it if TA is not with tcb.

@toneypaloney mentioned it and it made me thinking if failed payment triggered account setup or not, which I believe not.

          • @apple0604: With all your emails with the declined payments, are you able to login to PureVPN with any of them? If you could login, then an account was created without requiring a subscription (paid or free trial).

Same as you regarding PureVPN and TA. I bought PureVPN profit offer because TA is the TCB AU rep. Haven't participated in any of the other PureVPN profit offers posted here including TCB international locations.

I'm fairly new to VPN and bought my first VPN (NordVPN) last year. Been using cashbacks and gift cards in the last few years so not a long time user. I wasn't active on OzBargain for a while and not familiar with CR or SB in the early days.

            • @trixieb: Referring back to my original comment, the first time around when payment didnt go through I did check and it did make an account (although it said 0 subscirptions) but proceeded to sign up with the same email. In any case should I request refund for pure vpn and do it again with different email? Or would that not work because the first one tracked so I am unable to do it again?

              • @toneypaloney: Thanks for confirming that an account is still created without a subscription.

@apple0604 I probably wouldn't use those emails with the declined payments.

Or would that not work because the first one tracked so I am unable to do it again?

Unfortunately the second order would not track. Up to you if you want to cancel for a refund. If you don't, it would probably be fine as you paid without delay. If any issues later, please contact the rep tightarse.

A few members have informed me that they had inadvertently used the same email for PureVPN (from previous profit deals) and still received cashback. It could be a random check and may not apply to all transactions.

@apple0604 It's best to keep a record of the PureVPN transactions, email used (including declined payments), if auto-renewal has been cancelled etc.

                All the best.

                • +1

@trixieb: I just checked my emails used and I only received Welcome to PureVPN for successful payments. The other emails received from PreVPN were the following two:

                  • Jess from PureVPN: asking to try again as they noticed failed payment.

                  • Back to PureVPN: noticed your started your order….

I hope I will be fine and I won't ask for refund (too much trouble). Like I said, if @toneypaloney didn't mention it I would have no idea PureVPN might creat e an account for members with no subscriptions when payment failed. Not logical, isn't it?

I will start keeping records in the future unless I stop participating in PureVPN deals.

BTW, I just did a Google search, AI results: PureVPN will not create an account for customers if payments failed….

                  Hope it is correct information.

              • +1

@toneypaloney: I just checked my cashback for PureVPN deal on 26 Aug 25 was confirmed on 5 Oct 25. And I am pretty sure I used that email in June and payment failed.

            • @trixieb: When payment failed it never crossed mu mind that PureVPN would create an account so I didn't check. Now, honestly, I don't remember exactly which emails I tried.

I have never known that there was a 7 days free trial thing with PureVPN.

I only participated in cashback deals if I have confidence that I will receive cashback. So far, tracking via tcb has been good for me. But with TA around I have confidence. Might use tcb more often in the future.

I wouldn't bother with TCB US or TCB UK. One AU account with TCB is good enough for me as I don't do a lot of online shoppings. But now I can see the benefits of online shopping using cashback companies.

My experiencd with CR and SB are not bad too although not 100% tracking. Small amount I just ignored it as I didn't have time to track my online spending. Also none tracking rarely happens to me.

  • Did not track again. Was same the last time. What a waste.

    • Please see my replies here and here regarding asking for a refund and non-tracking.

You messaged TA on 28th Sep. What did TA say?

placed order 22:34 yesterday. Still hasn't tracked. Messaged TA. Lets see.

    • same. Refund requested, so will see how smoothly that goes
TCB App & Mobile Data so followed the same steps as before. Cant win em all :)

Few back and forth emails with offers , but refunded processed.
Gained $1 in exchange rate fluctuations :)

  • Will use GPay have better to keep card info secure?

  • Hello Sora 2 (desktop) early access :)

  • @trixieb thanks for sharing this and the support in the comments
just to be clear, the refund only is granted up to 31 days from sale
it's required u to hold the VPN open up to week 16
on week 17 u should get the cash back, but there's no refund now and u just have a free VPN… is there any benefits in trying to cancel it at this pt or not?

    • the refund only is granted up to 31 days from sale

You would cancel and request for a refund (within 31 days) if there is no tracking or you're not happy to keep the VPN.

You won't be able to use the VPN when you have been refunded as it is disabled in your account.

If your cashback has tracked and you received a refund, it would most likely be rejected later.

it's required u to hold the VPN open up to week 16 on week 17 u should get the cash back, but there's no refund now and u just have a free VPN… is there any benefits in trying to cancel it at this pt or not?

My recommendation is to cancel the subscription/auto-renewal after cashback is paid which is usually in about 3 months.

Some people have cancelled the subscription/auto-renewal straightaway and have received cashback.

I prefer to cancel after cashback is paid as it's a large sum of money (in case of issues). It's up to you if you wish to cancel the subscription/auto-renewal now. As there isn't much of a benefit to cancel now, you can set a reminder to check for cashback and cancel in about 3 months.

When you cancel the subscription/auto-renewal, you will still be able to use the VPN until it expires. This is different to getting a refund.

I have received cashback without downloading or logging into my PureVPN accounts.

Please note that "Cancel Subscription" and "File a refund" are next to each other here in the first 30 days.

      Hope this helps.

  • Offer expires on Sun 19th Oct 11:45pm AEDT.
