    "Official supplier to men" wtf?

    • patented

    • Hi, this is the daily “Moisturising” Shampoo not the Daily Shampoo. Please check again. $9.90 x 5 = 1.25 L and Free Postage.

      • Ah yes, I stand corrected. Thanks!

          how was you stand corrected?

    • Was the link changed? Cause when I click on it it says daily 'moisturising' shampoo. Ie. Same as the one op is selling?

      • it is definitely 'moisturising' so I wondered how he was stand corrected.

  • Hi,

Legit question: what makes this so good compared to $5 L’Oreal or Pantene stuff at Coles for a dude?

Besides marketing and an inflated RRP of course.

    • Supermarket shampoos typically contain silicon which while not harmful makes your hair look like crap, more so after not reusing the shampoo. There are probably far cheaper silicon free options though.

Also male hair products are typically far more concentrated than "female" hair products according to a salon owner. Women pay for diluted product for some reason.

      • Silicone builds up on the hair over time and although it can make hair feel smooth and look shiny it actually is just masking the hair underneath. The barrier of silicone prevents moisture from entering the hair shaft, so while it may look nice on the outside it can actually dry your hair out and cause damage to the protein/structure of the hair. It can be removed using a clarifying shampoo / shampoos with sulfates but these can be harsh and strip the scalp and hair of moisture. This shampoo does contain Sodium Laureth Sulfate (sulfates) so it's not really recommended for people with sensitive skin/dermatitis etc but it is still fine if you don't wash your hair every day (I only wash mine every 4-5 days and its SO much healthier) and use a good conditioner.

Silicone free / sulfate free is a good way to go. My hair has been much better since i've stopped using them.

  • Hi, I use this product personally and would never use a normal shampoo again. I only condition once a week as the moisturising properties definitely show me a feel difference in my hair. Please note everyone’s hair is different and this is a personal experience. Everybody has different requirements depending on there hair although I would never use a normal daily shampoo again as it drys my hair.

Please also note branded products are not found in supermarkets. We can not speak for other brands.

  • I thought not shampooing and just washing with water was the best for your hair, provided you use water based hair products

    • Most people who do the "no poo" washing method use conditioner to wash their hair, like those that follow the "curly girl" method (a godsend for people with naturally curly hair). Conditioner is actually quite effective at cleansing hair once people get over the transition period, it just needs to be worked into the hair well to rub away the grime.

  • What is the expiry date on it ?

    • Hi,

All products are brand new and long life.

      Management.

  • Big fan of the American Crew shampoo. Will try this out.

  • Dear Management.

If one is somewhat bold (but beautiful) will it make the little sprinkles of hair that used to be a shagadilic wonderland seem like an episode of Bold & The Beautiful when they look - you know, complete with the vaseline on the lens look?

Presume unlike the soap Bold & The Beautiful, there's no soap in this "CREW" shampoo.

Full Disclosure: I'm neither bold nor beautiful but asking for a balding friend and it's a great shampoo, I use it.

  • Thanks - ordered plus some beard balm (not the cheapest online for the american crew beard balm but not far off it)

  • but it's $35.49 free delivery for 1 litre daily moisturising elsewhere whilst yours is $39.6 plus $6.95…

      • nah man, i was comparing moisturising vs moisturising; it is perfectly valid comparison of an Apple versus an Apple.

  • Hi, the link was definitely changed because I saw the same thing he did after pointed out. Do you work for a competitor or apphiliated?

  • Anyone get delivery of these yet ?
