  • Does anyone have one of these? I'm in the market for one but don't really know what to look out for

What's the point of buying a VALK bike. I rather walk without the bike.

  • Looks like it travels too fast and has too much power for use in Victoria. Don't want to be booked for driving an unregistered vehicle without a license - and yes it has happened.

    • Doesn't even say the km/h so don't judge a book by its cover

      • Ah yes I saw 36km and figured chinglish for speed not range. At 250W without mention pedalec certification, you may get busted for unregistered motor bike though.

  • At 28kg, you'll be struggling to lift this into the car boot.

I don't imagine buyers ride these for very long before they gather dust in the back of the shed.

At this price point, you can get a good pedal folding bike, or an electric scooter, but not a decent eBike.

    batteries not included*

    • That must be some solid tungsten frame them!

  • Isn't this illegal to ride in the public areas in NSW?

      See this.

      • great information, do you know where i can find such information for electrical scooters thanks

My god, a document from a government organisation, that is relatively clear and helpful. Great link thank you.

  • the postage to Perth kills the deal for me shipping @ $124.30 which is crazy as they mention shipping is free for most metro areas. so would be AU $587.23 delivered. pass i would rather pay abit more and have local support if things go wrong with it.

maybe update they description that shipping is not free unless you live close to the store is my guess.
