Any good deal on a decent air purifier?

Never thought it would be necessary until Sydney is surrounded by bush fire, now!

I am wondering what purifiers are decent. Do not know much abut air purifiers. Please use Xiaomi's as a benchmark, if possible. BTW, Xiaomi's ebay official shop doesnt sell the air purifiers. Maybe they have been sold out.

      not a super fan of kogan, except for their mobile plan :p

      i do have $100 voucher of kogan though.

      Hepa sounds good until I remember that my vacuum, which uses hepa blows out dust out the back. I get all allergic when vaccuming. And the dust cloth masks help. So that means the particles escaping through the filter can't be that small?

      I just ordered the Kogan Air Purifier with express shipping. The air is shocking in Newcastle here. Hope it does the trick.

        I ordered it too and got it yesterday… I've no idea how to get the mobile app working, the instructions are … lackluster to say the least.

          Good timing as the price jumped $100 yesterday. Mind is supposed to arrive today, will see if I have any luck with the app.

            @JoelT: No idea how to get the app working. I've tried every combo I can think of, even tried the TuyaSmart app. Might be my router causing issues perhaps, but seems unlikely

    Not as good as the same store sold them for in November https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/501463 but not terrible. Price probably isn't going to fall when demand is this high…

      do you know if gearbite will ship it from somewhere in Australia, or i have to wait for up to four weeks from China?

        I bought one in November, and it took 12 days from clicking order to my doorstep which was longer than I had hoped.  Auspost tracking said it came from Victoria, but since it took that long, may have gone China to Victoria first ?

        Pretty happy with it though, thinking of getting a second to give to my mum
