KOGAN 46" HD LCD TV - WIDESCREEN $1699 SAMSUNG PANEL HDMI INPUT

50

Free pickup from Melbourne store, otherwise courier delivery fees are additional see website for details. Preorder for dispatch 30th June 2008.

This is the tv I would buy, have not found a better deal anywhere. Saw Ruslan Kogan interviewed on Today Tonight recently telling how he can sell so cheaply. Seems to have built a good reputation.

  • I appreciate good quality video so I wouldn't buy a Kogan TV. I'm pretty sure they are rebranded low quality products and personally, I would never buy one. Sure, they might use a panel from a big brand such as Samsung but it's the components behind it that matters.

  • Don't know why this is a bargain if it's not immediately available.
If you are interested in this then you will have to wait till June 30th, 2008.
I'm going to say it's a good entry level TV and certainly decent enough for any family that requires a large TV for the lounge.

  • Ok, this is not a bad deal, but you can pick up a Sharp 46" AQUOS Full HD LCD for $1750~, with 3 year warranty. Why would you pay $1700 for a Kogan without a HD STB or a 1080p panel? Not the best deal at all, sorry OP!

    • cyssero, where can I find the Sharp 46" LCD TV around that price?

    • Proof please.
This is all I could come up with:

    • My mate bought it a week ago at Bing Lee while I was buying my laptop there. http://www.sharp.net.au/product-catalogue/products/LC46PD7X/ - that's the model. Any Bing Lee store can do it, just have to ask them for the best price on it, tell them you know people are buying it for under $1800. Wasn't in the catalogue and no internet link sorry. He got it brand new in a box and the salesman said there were heaps still around. Also got double pass to Sydney Swans game.

  • May I ask, which Bing Lee store this was at?

  • Yes, you are right, the 46" model is not the best. I should have listed the 42" Kogan which is a much better TV than this one. No Bing Lee in my state, but the Sharp 46" sounds like a good deal.
