Richgro Garden Soil Mix is an organic mix suitable for direct planting. This mix can be dug in to improve existing soil types, or as a complete soil mix suitable to be used by itself where no soil exists. It is suitable for all plant types with no need to mix anything else in. With added Gypsum (all states except WA) or Bentonite Clay (WA product only) , Richgro Garden Soil Mix has the ability to improve drainage in heavy, clay type soils. This mix also contains a soil wetter to promote better water absorption by your soil and hence the effective use of your garden water.

  I find whenever i use this mix i need to repot within 12mths as the mix loses its volume (around 1/3) due to being bulked up with barely composted sawdust.

  With potting mix you get what you pay. If you want the best chance for your plants to thrive buy good quality potting mix.

  I bought the hortico brand soil mix and it costed 3 times more,is it gonna be 3 times as good as this one? There are so many choices!

    how do you measure "3 times as good"? :-D

    you want to plant seeds in 2 x different garden beds and compare growths?
    compare "3 times as good" in taste of fruits?
    etc.
