Do NOT buy them, stick to trusted sellers like Samsung, etc.

  • cameras are always bad (what is 800w and 1300w?), if you make a video call on one of these, you'll be bitterly disappointed.
borders/bezels on the phone are massive and gaudy, and they often fake the promotion photos showing a better, near-edgeless screen.
Battery will give you 3 hours if you're lucky.

Sure you havent looked these up on youtube for some other poor bargain hunter's review?

  • Expensive Land fill ?

  • You probably have to get one out of your system to learn a lesson. Not a bad lesson for $75. Spending $75 on junk now will help you say no in future.

  • like a under 10 kids toy

Without even needing to follow OP's link…. absolute rubbish, often the specs. quoted are a complete fabrication and the software is (badly) hacked.

Throw away when they die, when can be soon after 'warranty' runs out.

Feedback on eBay about the overall quality of the sellers goods say it all.

  • They are probably similar to these bad boys with faked CPU/RAM/Storage specifications.

They had a few listed on Amazon a few weeks ago and I nearly bought one until I looked into them. I ended up paying a bit more and getting a Teclast T30 instead.

    • Here's the video there… He keeps saying "actually, it's not that bad… the screen truly is IPS… not great, but not bad either… as good as a Fire… and it's not sluggish… BUT: they're lying!" Is that all?

I mean, the tablets are similar in spec to branded tablets that you can buy for around the $200 price point.

The downside of buying these tablets is that specifications aside, they are generally terrible in every other aspect, including the software. You might consider

        • Battery isn't as large as advertised and may not be reliable because they use reject parts.
        • preloaded Android OS is not up to date and may even contain malware or preloaded adware. There might be rogue apps that install themselves and run silently recording what you do and sucking up battery life.
        • you'll never get OS updates or security updates
        • bootloader is locked and you can't find a suitable ROM for it because the drivers are unknown
        • there's no warranty and no tech support. You can't find a forum post online that discusses it's issues because the brand is generic.
        • higher failure rate and risk of receiving a DOA product.
  • These for gifts? Just spend a bit more and get cheapie Lasers from Officeworks

I bought my son one of these for Xmas.

      I mean Santa's bringing it.

  • I generally find them (the $75 ones) underpowered. I bought a Xiaomi Mi Pad 4 in Nov '18 for $231.55 from Geek Buying and was pretty happy with that. Strangely they seem to have gone up in price recently (have double-checked that was in AUD delivered).

  • And no-one has asked what you intend to use this for?

    • Was just thinking this. As pure front-end interface tablets for home automation systems like Home Assistant, these look great.

  • You get what you pay for.

  • Hot garbage. If you want iPad quality you'll need to pay iPad prices.

  • Absolute crap I would imagine. Normally the screens are terrible on cheap tablets, let alone the rest of it.

  • Paperweight or drink coaster
