Belong nbn Internet Connection

After work I watch youtube at home with Belong nbn internet connection. One day after midnight internet was disconnected and I thought something is wrong with Belong and went to bed. The other day same thing happened again and I rang to Belong that night. The machine told me that between midnight and 7 am they close.
Today now the internet disconnected again after midnight and wonder it happens only to me or other Belong customers have same experience.
In the morning the internet connection is recoverd without doing anything and I have no issue after that until the midnight. Is there Anyone has same experience with Belong?

I will ring to Belong tomorrow and I will write again what they say.

  • never have issue here at sydney south west

    • never had issue before here at Mernda in Melbourne. Belong will help me to fix this problem.

Maybe the router has some sort of parental lock set up. It cuts off internet at midnight.

  • No problems here. Only had 3 months though. Sounds like parental controls may have been (accidentally) set up.

  • Get the line checked, had similar issues then raised it with Belong and a tech was sent to investigate/repair. No issues ever after.

  • Raise a TIO complaint as last resort. Have been using Belong NBN (FTTN) for around 18 months now with no problems (using my own modem/router instead of the one they supply).

    ok, post back then.

  • After using my own modem and router I no longer have any disconnection problems to speak of on by NBN FTTN connection. Whirlpool forum would be a good place to look for recommendations.
Also, if you are about to join Belong use the referral link posted on the previous Belong tread to get a $20 voucher. I did and saved $20 at signup.

  • If it goes off after midnight it sounds like NBN maintenance.

  • Do a factory reset

  • Without factory reset or anything it comes back to normal. Strange..

    • Could still be a setting in the modem that is doing this such as something that controls usage based on time of day (useful if you have kids for example) or something so I would still do a reset… Might clear it up for you.
