    Yep. Awesome deal IMO.
Check for burn in and functionality that everything works correctly.
Ask the seller if they have the original receipt.
Also check if they have the original box.
The OLED panel is very thin and can crack during transport so be very careful.
    Cheers

It was selling discounted new for $1300 end of last year on clearance and refurbed for $1400 a year and a half ago where you at least got a warranty

Deal is good if you need the tv and make sure you double check everything

  • Don’t buy a 2 year old OLED

    • Why not?

OLEDs if not used correctly are prone to uneven aging. Not covered by warranty. Why take a risk?

        • This is the sort of thing i had been hearing also, and no idea how someone has treated their tv over the last 2 or so years.
It reminds me of plasma burn in, which i have definitely experienced big time in one of my samsung tvs, but dang the picture quality on that thing was awesome. And it was great for gaming (other than hud elements always burning into the screen)

  • I wouldn’t, I would buy a new one with warranty and peace of mind !

Don't take the risk OP, the 2017 LG Oled are prone to burn in.

    • Thanks, that is good to know! looks like i wont be getting this one then.

  • Thanks all, appreciate your comments, it is feeling like i should pass on this one and save up for a current model, guess i better get back to work then!
