[VIC] BeefEater SL4000 5+1 Burner Trolley BBQ - $4449 (Was $6399) @ BBQs & Outdoor

70

Hi guys, I saw another post for this store having sales on Weber product, surfing their website I noticed they have a cracking deal on a top of the range BeefEater BBQ. The pricing works out to be almost 30% off! After seeing the barbecue in store, the sales person also mentioned the price includes delivery and assembly within Metro Melbourne.

The deal can be found here:

  • Honest question, how is this any better than Matador unit with sink selling for $2650?

I'd say quality and performance (.ie heat output), in my search for a BBQ I looked at what Bunnings had to offer, the ones on display looked and felt pretty cheap and nasty imo. The BeefEater models I saw all felt pretty "heavy duty", like the lids had a fair amount of weight and didn't creak flex when opened. The sales person noted the BeefEater came with a 25 year warranty, granted this I think was on the firebox/main structure only, but still that gives some indication of the level of quality. The burners were a higher heat output as well, plus spare parts were readily available.

    • Your link is not working and I cannot find this on their website. I checked all 9 6-burners and none of them had a sink. I've been looking for one with a sink in this price range or lower.

      • link works fine for me

        • Haha this is so weird, I just can't find it. I see your picture, but original link doesn't work and even searching for it on their site there's no result.

Buy a Webber Q easier to look after and clean.

    • I've heard good things about those, but we want something much bigger and preferably in a SS finish as we're by the beach

Buy 2 then :P theyre aluminium

Given the price this should come with a free celebrity chef to cook for you.

To be honest it feels hot enough today that a barbecue seems completely superfluous. Just put the meat outside on a metal tray and wait a bit. Saves $4449! 😉

      hahaha you're not wrong!!

  • The Beefeater is a premium product, even the basic 2000 we owned lasted well in excess of 10 years.

  • Could buy multiple Weber Family Q's fully kitted out at this price.

    • Or a Weber Summit.

  • You can get all this for 4k..

Can't imagine quality would be that different.

    • You can get all this for 4k..

      OLED though?
