Wouldn't they be well past their use by date?

once you paid $5.45 for this, it's hard to justify the ~400% increase

Got a bunch of cans for 50c each the other day (loose stock at my local Woolies) and was happy enough with that. But still more expensive than the $5.45 batches though.

I bought 20 cartons at $5.45 with free shipping. Drinking a can now as I type!

  • What’s the deal?

  • NQR has them for $10 a slab in VIC.

      This is 1893 cans for $21.00 !!!

      1.1 cents per can !!!

      • Bargain of the century

    Undersized, overpriced "fancy" Pepsi.

So they can't compete with Coke straight up, even at cheaper pricing. So now they are trying to get to the fancy cola drinkers. Good luck with that ;).

'can't compete' — dunno, is it really trying to compete if it consistently beats it in price? It's my go-to drink given Coke is a total rip off and continues to be at like 60c a can. You can keep drinking Coke if you think it makes you feel superior or whatever to pay more for a ever so slight different tasting cola drink, but I'll stick with my Pepsi, which is pretty much just as good as Coke (and if you want to talk about that new abomination of Coke No Sugar, then Max is even better imo). But sure, good luck with that too.

      • That's my point… it's always cheaper than Coke, yet it still sells much less here in Australia.
There's a massive difference in taste, and its not "pretty much just as good as Coke".

You stick with Pepsi mate, it's all good. But if you can't see that this is a pathetic attempt at Pepsi to try and describe a sugar soft drink as some aged wine then I guess the marketing worked on you.

Coke's never come out with bullcrap like "Boldly blended cola made with: Kola nut extract, dark brown malt flavor, a touch of aromatic bitters".
        What a joke.

        • Yeah because Coke Energy is such a marketing win!!

    • Pepsi Max is the bomb. Shits all over coke

      • +1

Standard Pepsi tastes worse than Coke, Max is orders of magnitude worse than even that.
