That outdoor sun chair looks like it could double as a fancy camping toilet.

    • I think it has to be the exact same name for them to price match.

      • Possibly, but worth a try if you can't find stock at Amart

Actually, last time this was on special at Amart, Bunnings responded with a cheaper price on their brand, so good chance they will price match https://www.ozbargain.com.au/comment/6757732/redir

        • These are great set to buy, especially for that price (you can sell with few dollars profit on gumtree as well).
However, they don't last long to get rusted. That's why Amart is the better option with 3 years warranty (Bunnings has only one year warranty.

          • @Sabric: Good point. Extra warranty is good for piece of mind

        • Indeed I was correct. Bunnings have now beaten the Amart price just as they did last year too.

  • $19, must be a good quality

The last one I had lasted 9 years before I fell through the wicker when sitting down. Was in full morning sun. Not sure how much the quality has changed on the item in that time. Style is almost identical. Pretty sure I paid about $30 then.

Just bought a new one :-)

    • Mine has been siting outside for a few years. A bit of rust around table edge but I just gave it a quick rub and re-spray and it is all good.

The wicker in the chairs is still really good.

For this price you can't complain :)

I only get my patio furniture hand woven direct from the African jungles of Jamul. They definitely tend to last a lot longer.

didnt need it, but bought cause its cheap. Thanks..

  • Wonder if this would fit in my Kia Rio hatchback

    • +2

it should, come in the box need to be assemble

    • +1

LOoks like the same deal they did last year. The chairs are a single item and stackable. The table is in a flat pack and needs to be assembled. Yes it would fit in a rio

  • Those sunchairs comfortable?

    • Yes they are

      • Can confirm.
        Cats think they’re comfortable also.

  • We bought a bunch of these last time they were on special. The ones that were made well have held up fine, all living outside. About half of our chairs had to be returned and swapped though because the stitching/weaving of the plastic on the chairs wasn’t finished or held in place properly and after a few uses, started to unravel.

  • Have the bunnings one from 2013. One of the welds on a chair let go a week ago. Was gonna weld it back on today. However for $19 it was just easier to order this.

  • Be careful, they will cancel your order if you don’t pay immediately.

    • Serious?? I placed an order last night and chose the pay on pickup option

Always love the marketing shots. Just bought a $4 million house overlooking the ocean, but screw spending more than $50 on furniture.

Being frugal with the little things is how many can afford to buy nice bigger things.

        Or just earn well.

        • No, not at all. Plenty of people have built up a nice property portfolio over the last 20 years on an average wage or less. There's still plenty of opportunity for the next 20 years. Brisbane is very affordable at the moment and just take a look at their predicted population growth over the next 10-20 years. You don't need to earn well, just spend wisely.

          • @LikeMike: Ok, if that works for you. I'm going to stick with earning well.

            • @CocaKoala: I am frugal with the little things but I never said I didn't earn well. If I was a billionaire I'm certain I would still be using ozbargain.

    Bought a set, thanks OP!

  • Bunnings has done their "beat it by 10%" policy on these chairs. Got added as a temporary price reduction in the system yesterday

  • +1

Bunnings Springvale matches this price. Bought 2 yesterday. Ignore the pricetag. It shows 18.90 in their system

    • It is now advertised on their website for this price too.

  • amart probably taking orders they can't forfil as usual so bunnings the better option. Also less hassle on returns because Amart argue about everything…

  • Was told waiting period till April/May…that's sad..

    • Ouch. I’m Adelaide based and was told mid-January. I don’t mind I expected a few week delay.

  • +1

The Amart store in Melrose Park, SA said they're out of stock but it can still be purchased online now at this price for pick up in 4-6 weeks. I went and got it from Bunnings instead.

  • Great deal but website is showing delivery 7-9 weeks now. I got 2 sets from Bunnings before they put the price back up.
