        Then that's a rip-off too.
        Look at the past Usenet deals posted, 1TB block is usually only ~$10 or as low as $1 if included in a monthly subscription.

  Dumb question .. is Usenet worth it?

  Like I know Usenet from back in the day when it was handy to find out stuff or get files over dialup…

  But in today's modern age?

  I know I could sign up to the free trial… But any advice would be appreciated :)

    I think most people use it to automate series etc for their servers. Also great for finding rare files

    It's quick when it comes to automation, you'll be downloading with all your speed so you can grab stuff ASAP when its up. If you're not adamant about watching the latest stuff quickly or you just watch mainstream stuff then its probably not worth it. And if you're into private trackers then I personally think thats better than Usenet. But usenet is less headache, no need to seed etc.
