Pretty good deal from Amazon as part of their boxing day sale. Good for all the people who just bought themselves a new A7iii as it's perfect for 4k recording.

  • Bought one of these a while ago and relaised it wasn't the 300MB/s version. Kinda hate how they market both under the same name. Keep in mind for the a7iii you'll need a card with 100MB/s write for the better recording settings. this one only does "up to" 90MB/s.

    • Yes, you need an SDXC II for that.

Wrong! The speed is 100 Mb/s not MB/s. So technically, it is 12.5 MB/s which is much lower than the sustained speed this card can provide at 30 MB/s (V30). This card is more than enough for A7RIII or A7III.

will it be fine for Canon M50? I just bought one and know nothing about MB/s.

        • Yes, it is fine unless you do 4K @120 fps

      • It’s not 100 megabits. MB = megabyte, Mb = megabit.

  • Nice deal thanks

  • In my order email, the pic is showing U1, not U3

Can buy a 128 GB v30 card for a little more:

That is lexar and $10 diff is not “a little more”

      • -1

But you get double the capacity!

        • -1

Double the capacity but the Lexar 633x only has a write speed of up to 70 MB/s compared to the 90 MB/s write of this SanDisk Extreme Pro

          • @akm8: I think you better polish your knowledge about SD cards. Those numbers mean nothing as they are simply burst rates. What is always important is the designations on the right such as V30, V60, and V90. If the SanDisk had a write speed of 90 it would be designated V90. Same is true for the Lexar. It is just V30 meaning a sustained write of 30 MB/s. So 70 and 90 are both gimmicks. Even a simple search in Google or YouTube is enough.
