For those of you who take care of your car themselves..any tip/product recommendations for exterior/interior care/conditioning to ensure the car looks great particularly for leather interiors and ensuring the new car smell lasts longer.
Supercheap auto has some products but looking at recommendations based on experience.

Do you guys recommend using both leather guard and leather love from Bowen or just leather guard will suffice
Honestly it's so cheap when it's on sale I don't want to take a chance with degraded leather so I use both products.
Clean the interior as regularly as possible to keep the new car smell. You can't really overdo it unless you're using harsh products. Never leave food or drink or wrappers inside. Wipe it down every few weeks when it gets dusty.
Driving with the windows down or vents open isn't always the smartest way to go in congested areas. I usually keep everything closed otherwise you get excessive polluted air circulating through your car.
For exterior washing, use the 2 bucket method or some other professionally recommended technique. I prefer to do a touchless wash by rinsing with a pressure washer, snow foam gun, then rinsing again. Doesn't clean the paint as deeply but it gets most of the dirt off and will never leave scratches or swirl marks.

Armorall Brake Repellent. Get yourself a Gerni with a car wash attachment and snow foam canon. Lots of good products. Just depends on how much time and money you want to spend. We could go on for days. I recommend jumping onto YouTube and watching car detailing video's.
Bowden's Own and Autoglym products are pretty good in my opinion
