    Hmmm have I played this already? This is game 2 of 3 in the rebooted series yeah? It all blends together. I haven't played one of them, can't remember which one anymore.

          I played the first two and now almost half way through the third.

          Just go straight into the third one.

          You might miss a tiny bit of the story from the second but the gameplay is very similar in all three.

    I bought this about 2 weeks ago for $10 at EB Games.

    Enjoying it so far. A big fan of the Tomb Raider and Uncharted series for the easy to pick up and play, light entertainment.

      I tried it a little on game pass, the game is good but there's qte's so I uninstall it. If you like game with qte's then this should be fine. Personally I hate game with qte's so didn't enjoy it.

          Quick Time Event.

          Basically cutscenes with a touch of interaction, such as “press X in time to dodge a speeding car”. For some, too much of these interactive cutscenes take away the immersion of the story told.

        I've never played Shadow of the Tomb Raider, but have we really reached the point where there are people out there who would actually uninstall a game simply because it happens to feature quick-time events as a mechanic? Jesus, what is the world coming to?

        I remember when QTEs were first introduced in a big way in Resident Evil 4 and they were regarded as an innovative and engaging way to enhance cutscenes, to make them interactive and keep the player on the edge of their seat as opposed to just sitting back and watching exposition with no input. It was considered one of the greatest innovations of that game and I remember thinking how cool it was as a game mechanic, it really made me feel like I was Leon engaging in a knife fight with Krauser.

        Man, some people have the weirdest hangups about game mechanics. Better give up on an entire game because it utilises a single mechanic I didn't like.

      It's a solid title if you enjoy the type of game. The puzzles have been improved and they've reduced the combat I think. For $9 it's a no brainer and you'll get quite a lengthy game - great value!

    Standard edition for Xbox one also available for $9 if you want to add it OP (for those who didn't buy from eb and may have better luck with stock through jb). Shame they don't have the jb edition in stock for Xbox one though.

    If only I knew of this before I went 40 mins put of my way for an EB with stock yesterday! (Xbox - so wouldn't have got the special pack but JB has stock a lot closer)
