I recall seeing some SMH page or so few years before Westfield Paramatta, Hornsby, Rouse Hills Town centre used to be closed on Boxing day and mostly the shops in CBD were open. Does anyone know since when these outside of CBD malls have started opening on Boxing day?

In "tourist" areas like Central Coast they opened on Boxing day as well for a long time (at least since 2000)

It's been a couple of years. Not sure why it matters
