Likely as low as this will go: other stores have much higher ordinary price than target, so their sales just don't bring the price lower than this.

This set has some issues.. It's laughably not very extreme nor good ground clearance on the front axle. But, planetary hub and new motors and app will be a bit of fun.

    Yeah, get a BuWizz or SBrick motor.

    Otherwise, prepare to be disappointed with every Lego Power Functions set you buy. The older pre-Smart Hub/Control+ App motors are even more disappointing, though I do miss having a proper physical remote control that just worked over IR as opposed to trying to steer an RC vehicle on a smartphone, which is an exercise in frustration. Typical Lego. They innovate some new feature and it's 2 steps forward, 3 steps backward.

    Still, that independent suspension on this set is pretty neat.
