[PC, Steam] Shadows: Awakening (Global) - AU $11.39 @ G2A

43

Shadows: Awakening is a unique, isometric single-player RPG with real-time tactical combat. You embark on an epic adventure with challenging gameplay, a gripping storyline and enchanting graphics.

Grab this game, detailed review

It's retailing @ Steam for A $14.23 but even cheaper @ G2A for A $11.39.

I have personally purchased keys from this seller, and they are solid.

Have you tried Divinity Original Sins 2 ? It's an amazing RPG!!!

If you want the game buy it from Steam. G2A is notoriously shady and is primarily used to launder money by selling keys bought with stolen credit cards. You can end up with your Steam account banned and the developer of the game is responsible for covering the charge back on the stolen credit card that was used to purchase the key which can be crushing to indie devs. They would rather you pirate their game than buy it from G2A. Stay away, you've been warned.

      really!!!! wtf !!!

    • +1

Not quite - G2A is like eBay or Gumtree so they don't exactly vouch for the products other than displaying mere seller feedback ratings.
The problem is their listing is, by default, based on the price so the dodgy key seller shows up on top by putting the lowest price.
However, it's indifferent from those people selling stolen goods in eBay or Gumtree really.

If you want to avoid any hassles in any case, better use cdkeys or gmg but then they often don't have this kind of indie games.

G2A are notorious for shady crap. I personally recommend spending the extra 2 bucks to buy from steam or a reputable source.

It's coming up as €7.38 after all their bullshit fees are added on. A$12.22 in PayPal.

Fanatical has it for A$12.41 so don't even need to pay an extra $2. Only 19c and if you go through ShopBack you should get back like 23c so technically cheaper.

Even cheaper (A$11.79) if you're a newsletter subscriber and have the 5% coupon they sent out yesterday.

Yeah. Best to avoid g2a completely. It’s an open marketplace of game keys which leaves you exposed to purchasing illegally obtained keys and help people launder their money.

Doesn’t mean this deal isn’t legitimate but it’s best to err on the side of caution. There’s a reason why a lot of amazon marketplace deals get removed.

You can get it from GOG for an extra $0.60AU. It's an actual genuine store that doesn't screw developers or consumers alike & it's a DRM free copy. You have a 100% guarantee you're getting a genuine key that supports the studios as well. Otherwise, if you're gonna buy off G2A for the sake of 60 cents, you'd literally be better off just pirating it.
