Are the numbers on the pad random generated or a fixed 123 grid? So easy for crooks to dust these and get entry to anyones house if a fixed position.

Or you just answer the question, rather then making potential customers click through links & watch a video to find an answer to a simple question.

Or in your case, click a link and it times-out because your site is offline!

No wonder Amazon is crushing businesses

So you don't actually know the answer? Did you watch the video?

      • You'd be better not replying rather than giving a response like that.

"Randomiser - Before you enter your password, you are guided to push 2 random numbers…."

Think they just push in flat blade screwdriver and turn with pliers to break the pins …..these guys are quick …..aren't going to spend time dusting.

  • Any chance of a deal on the 3321 or 1321?

How hard are these to retrofit onto a wooden door?

    • Hi supasaiyan,

You need to have a 35-44 mm door thickness and clearance of 120 mm from the edge of the door till you hit any artwork/panels.

      Hope the above helps.

  • will this add an option for a zwave or zigbee module for Smartthings?

No bargain here, site barely works and the rep isn’t willing to answer questions—which is a shame.
I think I’ll stick to Bunnings and amazon who are happy to help when I have a problem.

This model is also 8 years old?

Also, literally every posted deal by op has a comment about site being down/slow.

    • Hi Scatman,

We bough large amount of these locks around 5 years ago, used to be sold for around $799, its a stand alone access control, 1 admin, 10 managers, and 240 passwords.

Price is low due to the age of the stock, but they are unopened and we honor 2 year warranty.

      Hope the above help.

Site doesn't work. Rep won't answer fair questions. I think it is reasonable to answer questions if you are getting free advertising.

    • Hi Sean,

The post was posted on Sunday afternoon, all questions were answered within few hours, let us know should you have any question, you can also contact us on 1800665397 during business hours.

  • These products can be hacked with lasers.

    • +1

      Sharks with frikken lasers? :)

      • surprisingly enough, using lasers to attack microphones seems to be the trick. Any smart hub with a built mic is vulnerable. There's still study going into the issue now, but its believed to be an issue with the membrane of the microphones.

    • Dear vincesuarez,

The lock we have here has no connectivity and works with Pin, keys backup and RFID cards.

      Hope the above helps.

Can't access site. Lack of response to questions above leaves doubts with me about the seller. I share the sentiments of others above.

    • Dear Willaston,

  • +1

Genuinely interested to get one of these but then the rep and product quality itself raise questions….

  • Do/will you have any with fingerprint scanners on sale?

    • Hi Ashmattic,

      We will have one soon.

  • +8

I've asked this before during a previous sale with no answer from rep…

Aren't these the US type model with the 70mm backset? And Australian doors use a 60mm backset… so you can't just take out your existing lock and replace it with this? Might be okay for brand new door, but not for a replacement lock…

    Happy to stand corrected here.

EDIT: Backset is the distance from the edge of the door to the centre of the door handle. If you get a tape measure out and measure from the edge of the door to the centre of the door knob, you'll find yours is more likely 60mm, so it won't fit this lock. Again, happy to stand corrected, and for anyone who's installed this lock to provide more information on how it's done.

    • +2

      Hi Webbiegareth,

Backset is 70mm, this is an international model, most of the Samsung Locks sold over last 6 years by ten of thousands in Australia are 70mm backset, its not an issue if its new install, if the door already have hardware installed then the lock covers the previous hole, yes some extra adjustment to the current cut is needed.

Dimensions of the lock, door thickness and other information can be downloaded from the page as well.

      Hope the above helps.
