Looking like the decent 5 shirts for $149 deal is back on for everyone's favorite business shirts!

Better than the longstanding $40 deal for shirts and ties as it offers more selections and sizes.

If you only wanted 5 shirts, you can add the women knot cuff link for $1 to bring it up to $150 for free delivery. Credit to another member for previously pointing this out.

Enjoy and happy new year!

  • Are they 'for $149', as in this title, or 'from $149', as from the website ??

    • Most are 5 for $149 except for the liberty range I think

Tm lewin charge credit cards from an overseas location, so use your international fee-free card so that your bank doesn't slug you with a transaction fee.

    • +1

      Great tip. Thank you

    • +3

You can pay with paypal to avoid international fee, I made a purchase yesterday to confirm it.

      • I also used PayPal last time and wasn't charged extra.

  • +4

The non iron shirts seem to be missing from the sale

    • Nah, there's some, just not many - tweak your filters.
I thought the same until I changed them up a bit.

      • Will check it cheers

      • Some double collars only, some single collars. Also, check the wording as they promote some options as "$75 when you buy 5 or more" which is a far cry from $30 per shirt!

  • Thanks OP. Perfect timing

  • Interested, anyone knows if the super fitted is very small cut like skinny fit? I guess we need to pay for postage if we need to return due to size? Thanks.

    • I once bought fitted and it was smaller than skinny and I'm a fat guy :|

      • +6

Mmm if you are fat as you claimed, should you buy their regular fit? 😊

        • +1

Yeah I did after that , regular fit is quiet generous around the waist though

      • I'm a fat dude and slim works for me.
It's an odd brand for us

        • +1

Yeah regukar is too big and fitted was like a wetsuit for me. Odd it is :)

    • I saw this deal yesterday at their store but it was getting a bit late for me to stick around shopping for all the styles and stuff. But I am thinking of just doing this in-store just incase of this exact issue. Can get the right size/fit on the spot.

      • If you have the time it's worth going in store once just to get fitted properly and then you can just order online. If you buy pants they will also hem them for you for free.

I don't want to sound like a shill but I used to have to wear a shirt and tie for work and TM Lewin are a nice balance between price and quality. I wouldn't pay full price for their shirts though as they are regularly on sale like this deal.

I am no slim jim and the fitted shirts weren't too bad. Their non iron stuff is alright but it is a bit thicker than their standard shirts. Just wash them and chuck em on a coat hanger to dry. From memory there isn't much choice of style compared to their regular shirts though.

    • "Super-fitted" is a really tight cut. Looks great but it's definitely a noticeable look and rather unforgiving, whereas 'Fitted' is just a nicely tapered cut for a slim figure. "Slim fit" is even more relaxed again.

    • Don’t disagree with mrpen comment below but in terms skinny I would add that they have a Lycra component in some of them and it provides a stretch with a little give which is very comfortable to wear. Sometimes I buy a chest size up as they can tighten in the wash.

    • I wear super fitted. It shows any bumps and on the waist if you have them

CT Shirts are 5 for $200 delivered (advertised at $39.95 each) and have a much bigger range, including non-iron, for those that may prefer their shirts. Personally I prefer their shirts so would pay the extra $50 for five.

I think their standard sleeve length (86cm) iis a bit shorter than TM’s, so it might be worth considering the 89 length you less you have short arms.

    • What's CT?

    • Is there a code for 5 for $200?

      • +1

No, but google “ct shirts” and you’ll see a picture of one for $39.95. Click on that and it’ll take you to all the sale shirts for that price. It’s free delivery for over $199 spend so 5x $40 is $200.

If you go straight to their website sometimes, you don’t get certain deals they have on, that’s why I suggest googling it then going through there.

          Works a treat! Thanks mate.

        • One thing I did note is that if you go via google there is nowhere to enter a promo code… but thats all good :)

  • +1

Awesome 1st post. I've been waiting for these shirts to go on sale again, thanks OP.

  • How do you stop them mailing endless physical promo material after buying shirts.

    • +1

      unsubscribe?

    • Not sure how you managed that, I've bought from them several times and they've never physically mailed me anything?

    • Send them an email.

  • +4

Last time this sale was up I bought 7, they're still in the box sent to me unopened lol

    • I used all my 7 within two weeks of arrival.

    • same lol, got a box from CT unopened too lol. Can't resist sales

  • +3

I've started using Uniqlo super non iron for work, never looked back.

    • +2

Uniqlo is the only brand i pay full price. Love the quality and fit.

      • +1

U haven't tried CT or TM

  • Anybody tried Unidays with this to get the additional 15% discount ?

    • I think ive stacked codes before. Not on this deal though

  • White shirts not included in sale combo…

  • +2

Looks like shirts are back on the menu boys!

When I used the link to 5 shirts delivered for $149, no non -iron shirts available for collar size 16.5 and 17

After clearing cookies, I was able to use the link in the 2nd sentence (each shirt $40 delivered) and I was able to get 2 non-shirts at that price

Just going direct to tmlewin.com.au each non iron shirt was $49

Hope someone finds this info useful

  • Any pants deals?

  • Just branching off LFCs comment about shrinking? What are peoples' experiences with TM shirts and just general laundry? Does the size change after wash?

I tried a couple of their shirts yesterday at Myer with the goal of being ready with what size/fittings I can get away with in future specials, but that wouldn't take into account wash shrinkage and stuff.

    • +1

No shrinkage..unless you put on weight..

  • +1

Very limited range compared to previous sales

  • +1

Awesome price for the quality of shirts. Don't think the price would go any lower. Good post OP.

Hard to shortlist 5 given the limited range. How many blues and pinks can you buy!

  • It's a good price but I'm hesitant to buy TM Lewin shirts again.
A few years back, I bought six plain white poplin shirts for my wedding party. Three of them stained under the iron! (two under my iron and another under my mum's when I worried it was my iron) - something I've since heard has happened to other people. Fortunately I'd ordered a spare for myself.
The issue may have been that they hadn't been washed beforehand (I didn't want to risk them shrinking), but that (staining) hasn't been a problem with other brands I've since tried (Charles Tyrwhitt and Australia's Oxford).

    • Downvoted because?

  • I've been buying Bell&Barnett for years but I'm giving TM Lewin a try considering the price… Just wondering what fit would be equivalent to a B&B… I'm ordering 2 fitted and 3 slim fit to have an idea of the correct size.

    • Bell& Barnet- my size is 39/40 and I use fitted 15" T.M. Hope this helps

      • I only saw this now, but thanks…
        I had the shirts delivered.

The items 62457 (slim) and 62465 (fitted) fit well in 15H, similar to the B&B 39. The 64324 (slim fit) is far too large on the same size. Very inconsistent sizing for the same 39cm/87cm…

        • No worries. I used to buy Bell Barnett from Ozsale when they were $10..I now wear only Charles Tyrwhitt..

  • Anyone knows if we can return to store if size is wrong instead of paying postage? Thanks

    • +5

Yes, the staff will help you post back to the UK and exchange for the correct sizing at no cost - did this a few weeks back.

      • Thanks for info

      • So if there's a shirt online with no available size can you get away with ordering it anyway and then taking it into the store if they happen to stock the right size?

        • Unfortunately not - Australian stores will not allow you to exchange an item in store. As coinlaundry said above, they will however post it back to the UK for you at no cost. I did this recently - dropped it in to the Brisbane CBD store on a Thursday evening, had the refund in my Paypal by Tuesday so it's surprisingly quick. I also did this back in 2016 and received a refund quite quickly too.

Whilst on the back of the printed invoice says you can exchange the item in store (with no restriction noted), this only applies to the UK.

  • Does this apply in store as well or only online?

    • It's in store as well

  • Does anyone know when this deal expires?

    • Shirts are getting real limited in sizes now so I anticipate sometime soon.

      On another note Amazing shirts!

  • +1

TM Lewin fit nicely and feel amazing. Get onto this deal!
