Just saw on reddit that ASOS has this Deciem 5 product set selling at $30. One of the products alone is usually $50.

The photos and description on ASOS don't seem to match up 100%, I'll use the products in the photo for price reference and put the discrepancies in description in brackets.

Update 3 Jan 2020: Back in stock and the description has been fixed up to match the photos.

New customers can use ASOSNEW19 for 10% off, credit to ladyofchurchill.

Shipping is $5 unless you spend $50+. You can buy more than 1 set. Remember to go through your cashback provider.

  • Do you think they may be past use by date?

    • +1

That's unlikely as the Ordinary's squalane cleanser and salicylic mask were both launched in 2019 if I remember correctly.

      • Okay. Thank you. Dont know much about this product

    • +1

The product is also listed on the what's new page so I think it's actually a new listing, just to put your mind at ease :)

Out of curiosity, what subreddit did you see this one? :)

    • +5

It was on quite a few subreddits, including r/SkincareAddiction, r/MUAonthecheap, r/skincareAddictionUK etc

That is insanely cheap. I've used the NIOD MMHC2 before, and I highly recommend it. Works wonders on dehydration lines around the eyes. Not too sure about the others, but the NIOD Photography Fluid might work well on its own or with a bit of foundation, especially in the summer months. Bought anyway purely for the MMHC2 alone. Great find and a great start to my 2020 of living a simpler life. :)

Thanks for the product feedback, good to know :)

    • I did some research and am still confused. Is this some type of skin care you add to your routine or are they for once off occasions? Can't tell if it's a toner, cleanser or moisturizer

      • Can't tell if it's a toner, cleanser or moisturizer

        None.
        NIOD MMHC2 is a serum
NIOD Photography Fluid is basically a primer.

Can stack with student discount. Eg unidays

  • Could some skin care enthusiasts suggest the best routine or situations to apply each of these products day-to-day?

Haven't used all of them but I think you can use most of them (except the mask) on a daily basis.

      • NIOD Photography Fluid Opacity 12% - cosmetic purposes, adds glow.
      • NIOD Multi-Molecular Hyaluronic Complex - serum to be applied after cleansing and before moisturiser, AM or PM
      • The Ordinary Squalane Cleanser - an oil cleanser for removing make-up /facial impurities, probably more useful for PM
      • The Ordinary Natural Moisturising Factors - daily moisturiser, AM or PM
      • The Ordinary Salicylic Acid 2% Masque - once or twice a week 'to target lackluster tone and textural irregularities'.

Big The Ordinary fan as a bloke.

As a person with stupidly sensitive skin this brand helped me alot with blemishes and cleansing. With the products above heres some hints:

    NIOD Photography Fluid Opacity 12%:
I dont use it but alot of girl/friends use it to glow up. Careful if you are white skin toned; will make you glow like the beacons of Gondor from LOTR.

    NIOD Multi-Molecular Hyaluronic Complex:
Great if you have dehydrated skin, apply morning and night after cleansing. After 3 days your face will retain moisture nicely.

    The Ordinary Squalane Cleanser:
GREAT easy no water cleanser. Very gentle and easy on the skin. Waterproof makeup may be a bit stubborn but foundation ETC comes right off. I use it morning and night. Doesnt dehydrate skin like soap based cleansers.

The Ordinary Natural Moisturising Factors + HA:
Hands down best facial moisturiser. Day and night after cleaning and serums (IE the Hyaluronic)

The Ordinary Salicylic Acid 2% Masque:
Low intensity peel/mask. Great once or twice a week to strip away dead skin. Sensitive people may want to do a spot test first.

TLDR: Great products for the price alone.

First time user for these brands but price looks really good

Absolute bargain! I was after some HA, and have been wanting to try the NIOD one so this is a perfect opportunity. Already use a couple of the products mentioned. Seriously considered buying two!

Also grabbed a few other bargains, needing more maternity clothes now I'm getting on with my pregnancy! ASOS seems to have the best range of maternity clothing I've seen if you are over a size 14. Got a 3 pack of singlets for $14 and some shorts for $12 to get free shipping.

Also sent to my sister and she sends her thanks :)

Nice, glad you were able to pick up some other stuff too. Presumably you got free shipping?

      • Yep, got free shipping.

Asos has upped their minimum from $40 a few weeks ago when I last did an order, added one thing and then had to go back and find something else!

        • Cool that you got free shipping. Yeah I just noticed the increased minimum spend for free shipping today too.

  • Damn, went to purchase. Sold out.

Been waiting for HA and Salicylic acid to go on sale.

    Boo!

    • +2

Heads up, some other regions haven't sold out yet. I was able to snag a set shipped from the UK for $34AUD

Keep an eye on it and check back periodically. If you don't check out within an hour it goes back into stock. I've done this a few times with ASOS when it says things are out of stock and they come back in as other peoples holds expire.

  • shows like low in stock and still adding to the cart and allows to hold for an hour

  • Cheers OP. Just ordered it then - showed Low Stock But went through fine
