Target is having a clearance sale on Liquor Chocolate. This particular one is 75% off.

You get at least 70 ml of whisky per package since it is minimum 33% original spirit in volume.

So if you buy 10 pack you get 700ml of single malt Scotch whisky for $37.5 and the whisky use for the chocolate cost at least $75+

Legit cheapest way to get these single malt whisky and you don't even have to be 18 to buy them (I do not endorse underage drinking)

      3% alcohol per pieces…

      Each piece is 15.5g so there are 5g of whisky. Whisky is not 100% alcohol, these whisky range from 40-47% so work out to be about 2.4%-3% alcohol for each pieces.

            @highdealer: If there's 0.465g of alcohol per chocolate (3%), and for ease of use whisky is 50% alcohol, that would make it approx 1g of whisky per chocolate…

            The filling is 33%, it doesn't specify that's pure whiskey

        I'm too tired to do the math right now, but I'm intrigued, I will have to look up the alcohol content for some other chocolate liqueurs. Pretty sure I've been driving over the limit in the past then if your numbers are correct…

          I could be wrong though. Since everyone is questioning it and having eaten on box without feeling anything, I re-read the description. I begin to think that it might mean 33% of the filling is alcohol. Which might make sense if it is 3% alcohol by weight. Work out to be only 11ml of whisky per box not 70ml like I originally thought.

            @highdealer: I think it's saying that the filling makes up 33%. So 76g or whatever is filling. The filling then contains 3% alcohol. So like 6ml whiskey total across a whole pack.

            That said, it all depends on how you interpret the 3%. If it's over the entire weight, then three times that I guess.

    Surely your math is way off though? It's like only a few drops of liquid in these. If you cracked open 15 of these tiny chocolates, I doubt you'd fill 2 shot glasses. And even then, I doubt the liquid is 40%. It's probably only barely alcoholic.

    Side note: I used to eat chocolate liqueurs like this by the handful as a child. Never did I ever get buzzed. But maybe these specific ones are special because they are supposed to be fancy single malts..

    Good deal though.

    Checked stock at 20 nearest stores in Brisbane region - no stock of Anthon Berg 230g/15 Pieces Single Malt Whisky chocs. Luckily Anthon Berg Chocolate Cocktail Collection - 187g shows in stock.

    Checked local Target a few days ago - what was showing as available was not there. Staff said they'd checked after earlier enquiries & found none.

            Carindale is my closest for 187g - but was there days ago checking the Christmas leftovers & there was no stock. Rang - none found.
            Common problem with stock systems.

            Will have to consume the Belgium chocolate (Coles $1 for 150g) with my supply of whiskies😉

    They do have a pile of the same brand different liqueur flavoured chocolates. For 5 bucks too.
