      JV, if you don't want free books, get Where The Crawdads Sing by Delia Owens for $4.99. Fantastic book. I read it last week.

    There are hundreds, probably thousands of free books on Kindle for anyone desperate. No need for Prime. You can find plenty of classics worth reading and a whole lot of, let's say, "interesting experiences" (I'd say rubbish but it takes a lot of effort and some skill to write any book - even poor ones which leave you wondering 'what was the point?'). Just search for free Kindle books.

    I dont get it, I have a .com.au prime account but my kindle was always set to the US store. I changed my region and said to shop content from .com.au. Is .com.au these days generally as good as the US store for free kindle books etc?
