FIRERELIEF

From their Instagram post:

50% OFF COFFEE SALE FOR BUSHFIRE RELIEF

In support of communities effected by bushfires across Australia, we are donating 100% of proceeds from online sales using the discount code 'FIRE RELIEF'. We will be donating directly to the Bushfire Disaster Appeal. Offer is for 24hrs so please head to our website and help us support bushfire effected communities.

I tried a few postcodes for shipping and it appears only Victoria has free shipping but you can always try your luck.

Good blends from this place and @ $10 for 250g and free shipping I think it is a good deal (not to mention the bushfire cause associated with the sale).

From their email after the sale:

    • Got mine too. Hand delivered. I got 500g bags as well which was nice as I ordered 259g bags. Also got a free coffee tin which was nice.

  • Got mine today. Ordered 3 x 1 kg and received 1 x 1kg and 2 x 500g. Ripped me off 1kg…

    • Ouch. Better get in touch!

  • Has anyone else found their beans to lack a bit of flavour? Bought the filter blend and have tried different settings with my aeropress for little improvement.

    • I’ve just given up on these beans.
I ordered a larger quantity than I would usually get, because of supporting the fires.
I got Ethiopian yirgacheffe filter roast.
I’ve tried brewing - V60 (pour over), Mocamaster, French press, immersion cold brew and cold drip. I’ve tried various grinds on each and still have been unable to produce a drinkable result.
      :-(
      Pretty disappointed

I gotta say that I am making my way through Sunset BLVD roast and now my taste buds have adapted it isn't a bad coffee but not blowing me away. The roast date I got was very early Jan which probably didn't help. When I've had this roaster from a café on a proper machine it is tasty. Maybe my equipment is failing me.

If the Roosevelt roast doesn't go down any better I'll be switching back to my usual Padre rotating beans mail delivery thing and waiting for the Seven Seeds to go on sale :) .

        • I also got these two - Sunset Blvd and Roosevelt. I rather like Sunset.

          • @bluesky: I thought the Roosevelt has gone down well.

            • @serpserpserp: I don't mind Roosevelt either, just prefer Sunset more. At this price, both good value.

              • @bluesky: Yeah it was a great price and I got 500g bags for the price. But I dunno if I'd by again. Much prefer Seven Seeds, Padre etc.

Beware, could not get these guys to supply me tax invoice for my order.

    • Assuming it is for GST-refund reason (for business), coffee beans are GST-exempt, so tax invoice is not needed. If it is for tax deduction purposes, ordinary invoice or purchase confirmation (stating payment is made) should suffice.
