just to confirm, if i purchase from travelzoo now, will i be able to book with the merchant after i purchase the coupon?

        • Hi lantol. That is correct. You purchase the voucher from Travelzoo and then you call the tour company up directly to make a booking on your preferred date. Please note that vouchers can be redeemed starting Wednesday 24 August until 16 November, 2011 and are valid for 1-day trips departing Sydney at 8am every Wednesday and Saturday, with a 6pm drop-off. Pickups are available at Eddy Ave in the CBD and around 9am at Gosford Countrylink bus stop.

  • no "extra" charges will be applied, right? some tours are cheap but then the driver later on will say "please collect $xxx for A, $yyy for driver tips, etc etc"

    • wonder why travelzooau not replying my query..

      • Hi erwinsie. Sorry, to coin a phrase from Q&A I took that as a comment not a question! As far as receiving the service for the value of the voucher, absolutely there are no extra charges or fees. We cannot control whether or not a tour operator asks for tips at the end of an experience. Much like tipping at a restaurant, it is entirely up to you and depends on how satisfied you were with your experience. Also don't forget that there is potential that you will be on the tour with regular full price customers so your assumption that they might ask for tips because the deal was cheap is somewhat flawed.

        Hope this clarifies your concerns.

        • thanks. i have been to a tour where the driver just go around collecting extra money for entry, tips, etc etc in the middle of the tour -. compulsory, they said.

but i guess this deal wont be like that. will get 2 ticks!

Gone with a very similar tour with Scoopon, was $69pp last year, including Aust Retail Park, but no buffet lunch. Really worth it, children enjoy every bit for it. Nice to give it to visiting friends.
Did not deal with this company before, but should be very similar.

  • I think I will get 2 for my parents.

  • consider to go with my father.
