Fire station, perfect to teach kids about bush fire fighting

    • +3

“City” fire station. For the “Rural” fire station you need 20 kids from your local neighbourhood to bring a brick each to your place. It’s free though.

Here's assuming you donated the same amount then?

publically posting about how 'good' they are while shaming others for their choices.. has to be a Liberal voter

also there are only 4 registered charities for the emergency at hand, please do not give money to just anyone as there are lots of scammers doing the round, particularly on facebook

    • +6

So instead of donating to the CFA or whatever you donate to some Facebook campaign which may or may not even reach the fires or people in need?

    • +4

Just donated to this instead of buying plastic. 🌧

We'll mail you a gold star sticker right away, sir.

I stand by what I said here; there's something about Lego deals that just compels users on OzBargain to spout off verbal diarrhoea about whatever irrelevant sh!t pops into their heads. You could publish a peer-reviewed study on it at this point and title it the "Unified Lego-Loony Soapbox Magnetism Hypothesis".

The irony is, in all seriousness, Lego are a multinational company that actually do care about the environmental impact of their business and already do a lot to mitigate the environmental cost of their operations and some of the money from each Lego purchase undoubtedly goes to helping put things right, ethically-speaking.

This loon is making it sound like buying a Lego set helps spill crude oil into the Gulf of Mexico and kill fluffy baby birds, meanwhile he's donating to some Instagram "influencer"-created fundraiser on Facebook of dubious utility and thinks he's literally stamping out fires with his own two feet. I just love self-righteous, delusional, virtue-signalling, middle-class Aussies who do more damage to the environment with a month's worth of grocery shopping than they can ever hope to offset in their entire lifetime; they're the Helen Lovejoys of this nation.

  • The deal seems to already include free delivery.

  • Too bad it doesn't come with scomo with forced handshakes and calling all these firies tired.

    Why include

    +Delivery ($0 with Prime/ $39 Spend)

If the item is more than $39?

  • +3

Home delivery not available from Big W, and item is $71.99 from Amazon.

    • Missed out last night.

  • Its not on sale at Amazon.

    • It was a limited time deal last night. Big W still on sale if there's one near you with stock.

  • Price matched at Target. Thanks

    • do they check stock levels of competitor before matching the price?

      • They didn’t for me, they just checked the price, although finding stock at Target is its own challenge.

  • Back on sale at Amazon if anyone is still looking for this.
