Probably the best 2 player game split screen on the ps4 is "a way out".
This generation has seen an incredibly sharp decline in split-screen games, in this case an Xbone would have been a better choice with it's backwards compatibility as 360 had a ton of them.
Get the Borderlands: Handsome Collection and you'll be set for months. Also Diablo 3 and Rayman Legends/Rayman Origins.
Doing split screen on backwards compatible games is a pain.
You need two Microsoft accounts to play split screen with no option to use a guest account

Overcooked and overcooked 2 are awesome, and even better with 4 players. On sale online aswell
little big planet -similar to rayman can have 2 players but gameplay is the same as single player
