Saints row 2 - 3.74 USD at gamers gate, good deal!
also came across metro 2033 for ~5 USD,

Both of these games are indeed steam activatable! I have activated saints row 2 mayself and am pretty certain about metro 2033

  Apparently Saints Row 2 is the German version which isn't up to date, censored and not mod compatible.

  I got the Australian hard copy collectors edition from GAME for $2 and it came with a 1GB USB stick so this doesn't seem like much of a bargain.
