I am one of the lucky vodafone member who ported to telstra through JB HIFI Deal with 500 GC and again moved to m2m telstra for no extra cost ,
now i am back to vodafone with 90$ PM with nice data though i had another number in vodafone so got the 40$ plan with data share and so comes down to 80PM which is just few $ more than i am paying for telstra , so i am preety happy with the deal

so if any one is looking for a nice NOTE 10+ deal on plan vodafone might be a choice atleast for now

Min Cost: $1,720.50

Not sure how much of a deal that is, its pretty much identical to Optus standard 24m phone+plan contract.

    • +2

This deal $0.21 cheaper than Optus monthly plan.

    No deal here.

The guy is trying to stay he stole a phone from Telstra and showing how much it is to pay if you sign up with vodafone

  • When I asked Optus about their note 10+ deal to upgrade, they were also offering $10 discount running up until end of January. They should be able to offer it through live chat. Deal with Optus would come down to $82.50.

Also noting that this is for the 4G version.

New phone the S20 being revealed in a month, possibly available in 2 months.
I'd rather get the new model.
(There will be an S20 Ultra which will be a comparable size to this Note 10+.)

Geesus someone happy to pay $90 for 24 months…. Please help him her….

    • +5

Sadly $92pm sounds reasonable when comparing to iPhone bs prices

      • 24 months contract is bad these days. 5G will not be included

  • Very difficult to find a good screen protector for this phone.

been using this one for a while. Best glass screen protector for curved screens.

      • Yes, but painful when having to reapply often. Have never broken a phone screen but having Whitestone screens only last 3 or 4 months was tiresome.

I believe if you are in the US you can get replacement screens if one cracks fairly cheaply.

        • Same. Replaced it with Warranty ones but only if you are in the countries they support - Australia isn't part of their warranty countries :(

What I've done instead is go to Alibaba/AliExpress, get the Glue and a separate tempered glass, then UV light it.

It's janky, but works and costs far, far less…

        • Does this glue and protector come off easily when protector is broken?

          • +1

@bigbadboogieman: Yes, when it breaks it breaks very thoroughly.

I had a little chip up the top and by the end of the week had spiderwebbed across the entire screen. However, was easy enough to remove and the glue residue came off with a little bit of isopropyl.

This was on my S9+ which is nearing two years old, so I haven't bothered to re-apply.

@Baa: Ive had some better luck with mine and have only replaced it once (bought a pack with two of them so it was ok). The issue I found was not so much damage to the protector but the glue that held it on would start showing little cracklines. I think it may be because I didnt let it cure long enough. They started showing after about 2 months and got to the point where it went down the whole side of the screen after another couple of months.
I re-applied and let it cure for much longer, and while some small cracks did show after a few months they havnt expanded.

Ive tried multitudes of different glass screen protectors and these (despite the funny glue) are still the best feeling and solid ones.

They're doing a 40% off sale at the moment so if you wanted to try them, nows the time.

              • +1

@comm: I haven't had a protector on for over a year now, admittedly have a couple of small scratches now (due to phone and keys being in the same pocket sometimes).

Personally I will probably hold out for the next generation of smartphones before worrying about another protector, I would probably use Whitestone for that honeymoon period too and would def get a two-pack this time.

  • Wouldn't it make more sense to go on a payment plan with Samsung directly, then go to a better MVNO or Cellphone provider with a mobile plan you'd actually use?

Furthermore, there'd be discounts for the Note 10+ directly from Samsung directly eventually :|

Furthermore, Vodafone is the last company I'd go to for any cellular service. The quality is worse than Telstra and Optus' and their respective MVNO's.

    • I find Optus to be worse

I don't know how some can still justify a 24 month plan.. It's just way too long. I've been dying to upgrade my Pixel 2XL deal from JB Hifi April 2018, and I'm almost there!

I just placed an order for this phone via Optus, they applied the $10 discount along with the the 10% NBN discount if you have NBN with them. Had to go to customer retention via their chat service, but got there in the end. Brought the total down to $74.25 over 24 months on the medium plan.
