  • Jetstar has sale on international routes (including Tokyo) for those travelling light & on tight budget (like my many Japan trips with Jetstar).
Otherwise these are good prices including baggage, food, etc.

    • +2

The Jetstar sale to Narita appear to only apply to Gold Coast and Cairns.

For people who live in Tasmania, South Australia and the ACT, these Qantas deals to Japan are probably offer better value than the Jetstar deals as the domestic connecting flights are basically included for only a few dollars extra compared to flying out of the hubs.

      • Thanks. Didn't realise that as I'm a northerner, so appeared in my email😉
Stopover in Cairns is usually a long wait, so connecting flights are not worth the bother.

  • Are there usually any flights on sale for Jan/Feb during the ski season? Looking at all the recent Japan deals, I can usually never find those dates.

    • We just got back from Tokyo, couldn't find any sales for January.

  • For those wondering, there was a post for this on the front page today, but got removed as it was a dupe.

This would explain the influx of new comments on this older deal.
