Standing Mat - $39 Shipped (Was $59) @ Kogan

90

This standing mat has a lot of good reviews and is one of the cheapest I could find. Tried one at a mates a few weeks ago and makes a big difference if you spend a long time standing (or want to).

If you can't stand the floor, and comfort matters.

But seriously I can't see how this could make any difference when you're just standing and not using a jump rope.

Just does - I stand at my desk four hours a day, and anything like this helps limit the impact on your legs, especially the soles of your feet. I just use a camping mat at the moment, but a good mat is nice.

Bought the exact same ones from Costco for $30 a couple months back, not sure if they always stock them. Everyone who comes over and stands on it asks where I got it from and wants one themselves.

Do you not offer people a seat when they come to your home?

I have a bad back and feet due to injury. I use a set of foam pads along the front of the cooking/sink area of my kitchen. They're a life-saver. You can find a four pack for $12 on up depending on thickness. Clark Rubber, Big W, Bunnings all sell these (fatigue mats). Fyi.

    • That's what I use, but these proper standing mats are a lot thicker and hardier. One of my ex-colleagues had one, and I always used it while he was away - at the time I was using a yoga mat cut into four pieces glued together.

  • I have 8 of these positioned under my queen size mattress.

You can sleep a lot longer that way.
