not bad wireless is nice. for less bells and whistles my recommendation is brother hl1110 when its around $40 - at that price with a ream of paper the included toner and drum cartridges more than pay for the cost of the printer compared to printing a4 b/w at officeworks and cheap aftermarket toner and drums can run it even cheaper and keep it out of landfill longer. only gripe is not automatic duplex or wifi, but then again that comes on other models at a cost.

Wifi is starting to get more and more important these days when you probably want to get the printer away from the desk if anything to save space

      • agreed, but its also not difficult to setup a "dumb" mono laser printer to connect via usb to most routers with a usb port and use it as a print server which would achieve the same thing.

i used to have a fuji p205b - that thing was the ozb printer - they were stupid cheap under 30 bucks and came with full capacity drum and toner and wifi. pretty sure they dont make them anymore though.

  • FYI From O/W website "This printer comes with a starter toner pack to get your printer up and running." How long is this meant to last…

    • Under the questions section it says 500 pages.

    • Reviews say around 500 pages

      • you should be looking at toners

looks like about $35 for generic 1,000 pg, $80 for genunine also 1,000pg

so basically this thing is really to expensive to be running in almost every circumstance

        • Factoring the cost of replacing toner, I guess for the occasional print, its not too bad for the price if its gonna last a while

I have this and it’s a good laser printer as I don’t have much real estate on my desk.
    Works well

  • I have this too and paid more sadly - its pretty good, especially if you don't have much table space to play with.

    Airprint compatible too!

  • Just realized that this doesn't scan

  • no duplex eh

    • Huh?

I thought all printers supported manual duplex.

  • Got one. 4 in stock at Gregory hills Officeworks at time of writing.
    Thank you OP.
