  • this or overcooked?

    • +1

Really depends on if you want single player or coop. Overcooked is crap without friends.

I just bought a Switch for Xmas. I thoroughly recommend Overcooked if playing with friends/partner/kids. I agree its hard to play solo as it requires cooperation.

My wife doesn't normally play games but she's played for hours with my kids and I. Sooo funny hearing each other screaming things like "I NEED ONIONS NOW!" and having arguments, going full Gordon Ramsay due to lack of communication.

Death Squared is another fun game to play with the kids - more coop strategy and great for my 8-12yr olds

This is the gold edition though :)

  • +1

Good fun game. Sort of like xcom but much more colourful.

  • good for 2 kids co-op?

  • +4

Gold edition has all the DLC. The big one being the Donkey Kong DLC, which is worth it alone. The season pass is quite expensive usually, and gold edition is hard to find at the best of times (Amazon and EB dont stock it anymore). Would recommend!

  • It’s on sale on eshop at moment too. This is NOT a shooting fps style game. It’s a turn based strategy game. Too much for young kids to grasp which is a shame as they are the target audience for the rabbids series.

    • Depends how young we're talking, there are a few levers you can fiddle with to make it easier (increased health etc). I could see 8+ year olds being alright with it. But yeah probably still older than the other Rabbids target audiences.

    • I saw it in a list of currently discounted titles too (@ $15 US) but when I took a look in the eshop, it was still $69 AUD.

  • I've had this sitting on my shelf for about a year, should really play it sometime.

Keep hearing nothing but great things about it

    • +1

You really should. It's great. Probably my favourite switch game have ploughed over 40 hours into it.

      • +2

I'm playing Astral Chain at the moment, but your use of "ploughed" has made me push Mario+Rabbids to next in line for the backlog clearance

  • +1

One of my favourite games I've purchased for the switch.

    Would definitely recommend it, 9/10.

  • Does this have the DLC content on the cartridge or via a redemption code?

    • +1

      Redemption code.

      • Thanks!

  • I got this for $20 with the unused dlc code from ozbargain classified. Sometimes it’s good to check there for bargains.

  • Any Super Smash Bros Ultimate deals? their all at 79 dollars now missed out on 59 lol. cant find any used for sale around here too.

  • +1

Pretty sure this has been $39 at JB for ages, or maybe $43. I was dubious because it was a discounted Nintendo game (hence I assumed it'd be bad) but I really enjoyed it.

    • Yeah has been this price for a few months. It was $34 at one point also for the gold edition
