The 55cm carry on is 3.2Kg which is very heavy.
Most airlines are now limiting carry-on to 7Kg so this bag is more than 45% of your carry-on allowance just in the bag itself.

Some airlines offer a higher carry-on limit for higher status fliers however I stand by what I said. It doesn't make much sense to buy such heavy carry-on luggage.
