    Exclude products currently on promotion.

    Deal killer

    • That means for full price items only right?

      • Yep it means if the $3000 treadmill you've been looking at is $100 off it's not included.

        • +1

Generally you get whatever is cheaper. 20% or the promotional price

  • awesome now i can get the shoes i have been waiting for ages to go on sale

  • Anyone know of good sports shorts that are light but have zip pockets?

    • Adidas have a couple of pairs I like. The prime series (from memory) have stretchy and quick dry varieties. They used to have a big variety of colours, but I think they've dropped down the colour range a bit…

      • Primes look good, will check them out. Thanks!

    • Not from Rebel but I love Patagonia's ones. Good for the environment too. A bit on the pricier side.
      https://www.patagonia.com.au/products/mens-strider-pro-short…

      • Can't justify that much for a pair of shorts :/

        • Instead of paying to wear the shorts… let the shorts pay to be worn by you

          Tis a privlege

    • adidas 4krft range is great

    Not available on gift cards.

Explain this to my native english brain. So I can't use my gift card to buy stuff with the 20% discount, right?

    • +6

I believe you can't get the discount on buying gift cards. Using gift cards should be fine.

    • Likely to be you can't get 20% off gift cards. Usually the deals exclude purchase of gift cards

Edit: Hah, this is what happens when you leave a page open and don't refresh before commenting

  • this is good for the garmin 6

but I can get 25% off through Garmin using AIA…
Rebel sport would be 23.5% off (3.5% cashback)

    • You forgot about paying with discounted rebel gift cards (for further 10% off through Suncorp/Entertainment book, etc) for more discount.

    • +1

you can get 9% off Gift cards via NIB (require buying it a day in advance) they say 10% but fee's make it 9%.
Then use those gift cards to buy the product with a further 20% discount, then add in Cashrewards. They might even bump up cashrewards on rebel during the sale.

So you can save more by waiting for a 20% sale + 9% giftcards + 3.5% cashreward. or save 25% from AIA Vitality, if your in a rush.

not gonna buy any asics running shoes from rebel after the recent kogan black Friday sales, coz i scored 2 pairs of quantum 360 and 3 pairs of kayano 25, all under 60 aud each pair. so cheap and so many pairs for years to come…

    • +2

      Kogan are grey imports tho

    • +2

In one of those Kogan Kayano deals an Asics rep confirmed they don't sell shoes to Kogan - you scored fakes

      • +2

oh lol thats funny i was just joking because i thought it only applied to electronics haha

      • -2

I doubt a rep would know what is going on in their supply chain world-wide.

  • Is there a link or promotion somewhere? Keen on picking up a Garmin Fenix using discounted gift cards but can't find terms anywhere

    • lol i spoke to the staff today on the phone and they dont even know about it

    • For anyone reading this, called a store and they are aware there is a sale tomorrow but aren't sure if it necessarily covers everything.

  • Also anyone with access to RedHotRewards (https://www.rewardgateway.com/au/solution/employee-benefits-…) through their workplace, Rebel currently have 15% off Vouchers (normally 10%) - Buy these at 15% off then buy something at 20% off!!

    • Same here through Reward Gateway. Says for the next 5 days.

      • hook this big boi up

    • and claim an additional 15% with shopback!

    • Can anyone please confirm this actually worked for them!
      20% off storewide + 15% discount vouchers + 5% Cashrewards cashback?

  • Shopback just jumped to 7%!

    So people can get
    20%
15% from the gift card discount and
    7% cashback

    So 42% approx

    Wowwwwwwwwe

    • Hi, where can i get 15% off gift card discount ?

    • Cashback not applicable when you use gift cards. So it’s 32% off using reduction and gift card.

      • -4

they say that but ive never had an issue

        • Likewise, paid in part by Gift Card and was paid out by Cash Rewards. Happened at Rebel and BCF (owned by same company)

  • Been waiting for a sale to pick up a Forerunner watch, glad my patience paid off!

Is there a code of some sort?

  • -1

What if we bought a fully priced item Sunday just gone, can we take it back, then re purchase it and get the 20% discount? I wish we held off buying it now.

  • +1

I have been waiting for a while for 40% OFF sale to get myself a Garmin watch.
Ended up buying from a QLD online retailer. Saved at least $50 even with a 20% discount.
I am going to get some activewear though.

    • where did you buy and which model, I'm looking at buying one..

      • I got a Vivoactive 4.
Sorry my bad, this Rebel deal is better than what I paid

        • +1

          ahk, thanks for reply

  • Not 20% off currently… need a code?

Edit: Runs tomorrow 23rd Jan, my bad

  • Anyone else with reward gateway access having trouble with it wanting you to log in constantly and not letting you access any info ?

    • are you using the website or through the smart spending app?

      • I've tried both and have the same problem. Our company is pulling out of the scheme as of March 1st, so I don't know if they've possibly jumped the gun. Would just like to know if anyone else is having the same problem, sounds like its ok for you ??

        • fine for me. bummer about your company pulling out of reward gateway. i love it with ebgames 10% discounts

        • i did have issues over the weekend where i got logged out. i had to reset my password.

  • Is this in store only? Or does online sale start at midnight?

Wish they had the space grey colour on the site. They have it in womens but not mens.

      • Yeshhh, I'm also only interested in the space grey! Or the purple blue one, but sadly they dont have it online.
Do you think Rebel may have them in store?

        • +1

That's what I'm hoping for. It seems odd to me one of the most marketed colours aren't on the website. I'm going to go to a store tomorrow and try my luck. Couldn't help but notice there's no click & collect stock available in my state so I'm hoping I can just ignore that.

          • @MegaBob: Hi how is it going? Did you find other colours in store?

            • +1

@Rwyatt92: Terrible. The only colour I found in the three stores I went to were standard black and white.

I'm going to get the black and purple ones. If I love these shoes then hopefully I can get the space grey ones down the track.

  • Any recommendations of indoor football boots that can go outside on grass too. Recommend astro turf ones or do I need two pairs.

    • Trail sneakers could work for both. I wouldn't wear astro turf shoes for indoor sport, not enough support.

  • damn sucks about shopback lowering their rate at the last minute

    $20 capped vs 7% on $1000

  • Cool. Got some of the extra wide new balance shoes, plus odds and ends to make up the free shipping minimum
    https://www.rebelsport.com.au/p/new-balance-mx624wn-v4-4e-me… $72

Thanks OP, picked up a BMX for my eldest's upcoming birthday, $119.03 after disc/SB.

    • you should get 7% cashback uncapped :)

  • can anyone confirm paying with a rebel giftcard works on shopback

  • im debating about 6s sapphire garmin but its still $1,000 BIG ONES

    • I keep going between 6X Sapphire and Apple Watch 5. I am not an athlete or a hardcore gym junkie. All I want is to track my steps, track my occasional cycling and track sleep. I have read countless reviews and watched so many videos and in the end I think, AW is more suited to my needs. Only challenge being, I don't have an iphone!!! I am waiting for my contract to complete in the coming months so that I can move to iPhone and then buy AW. Resisting so hard to not buy Garmin Fenix now.

      • doesnt apple watch work with android?

        • Unfortunately not and no way to work around it. Galaxy watch users are complaining about watch overheating when using cellular so I am not keen on investing in galaxy watch so just waiting patiently.

          • @ozioziozi: gee that is sad, you would think they would make it possible to impress us android users and get more sales
