Um, that's the same price that Woolworths charge for their cheapest eye fillet. The reason it's expensive is because the cut represents only a tiny portion of the usable meat of a cow.

My local butcher in Sydney has restaurant grade Eye Fillet at this price and you can look at what you are buying. And they will replace happily if you don't enjoy it.
The meat is magnificent, especially if cooked medium rare, very tender and tasty.
I'll post my experience with them. My first order.
