Could be second best wear os watch, but doesn't mean much when they are still one of the worst smart watches hey. The price is good though, I would prob still get Galaxy watch active though hey. If this price was for the carlile I would be more likely to jump on it hey.

  • Aren't all fossil smart watches, bar the hybrids, 24 hr battery life? That's kind of a big killer.

There's a new update that literally came out this week for the Sport that gives you some options to extend it out quite nicely, but yeah you're not going to get multiple days of battery life out of this. Personally, I'm using it as a feature rich fitness tracker as opposed to an everyday watch.

Sure, if you like to be limited to only using Samsung's apps and have a Samsung phone then that's probably a great option. I personally use Google Play Music, so there's no option for storing music offline on a Galaxy Watch for me and that kind of makes it useless as a standalone fitness device. Being able to send data to more than just Samsung Health is also a big deal for me.

          • @LibertyPrime: I use it on my pixel, iPhone and s10e FYI. Agreed about play music, I pay for Spotify as it's a better music platform so it's no issue here, even works on Apple watch, I don't like being tied to a certain platform. I use Sam health sync to send data from other services to Samsung health and can sync to Google if I wanted. I think overall Samsung health is a far better fitness app, still not great but much better than Google fit. Overall the active is a far better watch, it's more responsive, notifications and UI in general are far better, performance and reliability are key to me also. End of the day my carlyle hr which would be my favorite watch if it didn't run wear os. Really drags it down. Constant disconnections and lag. Also about half the battery life of the watch active which was a killer.

      • A whole few days in low battery mode? I'm glad I'm downvoted for stating how bad it is.

  • But this or the galaxy active? What advantage does this watch have over galaxy active?

  • Thanks! Can this do Google Pay CC NFC payments?
